The production cross-sections of the $psi(3770)$ and $Upsilon(4S)$, from the $Dbar D$ and $Bbar B$ scatterings respectively, are studied from the medium modifications of the masses and partial decay widths to open charm (bottom) mesons, of these heavy flavor mesons. Within a chiral effective model, the masses of the vector and pseudoscalar charmonium (bottomonium) states are calculated from the medium modification of a dilaton field, $chi$, which mimics the gluon condensates of QCD. In the presence of a magnetic field, there is mixing of the pseudoscalar (P) meson and the longitudinal component of the vector (V) meson (PV mixing), which leads to appreciable modifications of their masses. The radiative decay widths of the vector (V) heavy quarkonia to the pseudoscalar (P) mesons ($J/psirightarrow eta_c(1S) gamma$, $psi(2S)rightarrow eta_c(2S) gamma$ and $psi(1D)rightarrow eta_c(2S) gamma$ for the charm sector and $Upsilon(NS)rightarrow eta_b(NS)gamma$, $N$=1,2,3,4, for the bottom sector) in the magnetized asymmetric nuclear matter are also investigated in the present work. The difference in the mass of the transverse component from the longitudinal component of the vector meson, arising due to PV mixing, is observed as a double peak structure in the invariant mass spectrum of the production cross-section of $psi(3770)$. The modifications of the production cross-sections as well as the radiative decay widths of the heavy quarkonia in the magnetized matter should have observable consequences on the production of these heavy flavour mesons resulting from ultra-relativistic peripheral heavy ion collision experiments, where the created magnetic field can be extremely large.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135193064","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The model is tested in a study of low-lying excitation spectra for the odd-A nucleus [Formula: see text]Ra. Theoretical results, e.g., the parity doublets, interband [Formula: see text] and intraband [Formula: see text], are in very good agreement with the available data. In particular, the description of signature splitting in the ground-state band has been improved. This method provides a very useful tool for a systematic study of low-energy spectra in odd-mass actinides with octupole correlations.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134920379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These reactions are also of interest in thermonuclear power engineering, in connection with the increased interest in the possibility of practical application of thermonuclear fusion. In this work, the analysis of the results obtained in the course of studying the reaction D(3He, p)4He was carried out. The results were obtained by us in previous works on deuterated metal targets ZrD and TiD with Miller indices [111] and [100]. There is a need to more precise study of the effects accompanying thermonuclear reactions at low astrophysical energies. The purpose of this work is to study the behavior of the screening potential [Formula: see text] and the reaction enhancement factor [Formula: see text], depending on the crystal structure of targets and the interaction energy. The studies were carried out on a Hall accelerator (Tomsk, TPU) in the energy range [Formula: see text]([Formula: see text][Formula: see text]keV in lab reference frame with a step of 2[Formula: see text]keV. Experiments have shown that in reactions using metal deuterated targets a similar effect as in reactions using gas targets was observed. Specifically, an electron screening effect was observed, which leads to an increase in the reaction cross-section with decreasing energy, and in case of metal target this effect becomes stronger.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"20 1","pages":"2150045"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87379150","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the theoretical calculations, we have used the UNEDF2 and SKP interactions. The studies include the shape evolution, quadrupole deformation parameter [Formula: see text], nuclear electric quadrupole moment Q(b), single-particle energy levels, the binding energy per nucleon, nuclear charge radius, neutron rms radius, proton rms radius and neutron skin thickness. To analyze the accuracy of our theoretical results, we have presented the comparative analysis with experimental data and finite-range droplet model calculations. The adequate resemblance with experimental data is supporting our studies. We observe the oblate-prolate shape coexistence for 190Au, 193Au and 195Au using the UNEDF2 interaction.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"105 1","pages":"2150049"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78071203","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was found that the total charge-changing reaction cross-sections and the partial reaction cross-sections of PFs production were independent of the beam energy, and increased with increase of mass of target for the same beam energy. The total charge-changing reaction cross-section was the same as the prediction of Bradt–Peters semi-empirical formula, PHITS and NUCFRG2 simulation models. The partial cross-section of PFs production increased with the increase of the mass of target, and it was the same as the prediction of NUCFRG2 models. The mean scattering angle of projectile particle was smaller than the average emission angle of PF, and the width of scattering angle distribution of projectile particle was smaller than that of emission angle distribution of PFs. The mean emission angle of PFs does not obviously depend on the target mass and beam energy in our studied beam energy regions.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"70 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86117355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The multiplicity distribution is unaffected by the projectile’s energy or mass. At different impact parameters, the higher moments of multiplicity distributions of black particles were measured. The calculated values of the scaled variance (variance divided by the mean) show that the emission of slower target fragments at high energies is not a statistically independent process in all cases. At various projectile spectators, the angular distributions of the emitted black particles were investigated. The obtained data were compared to the statistical model’s predictions to describe the process responsible for producing secondary particles.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83842199","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
