The constituents of concrete are coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate and water. Concrete plays a major role in the construction industry and a large quantum of concrete is being utilized. River sand, which isone of the constituent used in the production of conventional concrete, has become expensive and also a scarce material. In view of this,the utilization of demolished aggregate which isa waste material has been accepted as building material in many countries for the past three decades. The demand of natural sand in the construction industry has increased a lot resulting in the reduction of sources and an increase in price. Thus an increased need to identify a suitable alternative material from industrial waste in place of river sand, that is eco-friendly and inexpensive construction debris i.e fresh concrete being extensively used as an alternative to the sand in the production of concrete. There is an increase in need to find new alternative materials to replace river sand so that excess river erosion is prevented and high strength concrete is obtained at lower cost. One such material is building construction debris: a by-product obtained during construction and demolition waste. An experimental investigation is carried out on M 25 concrete containing debris during construction in the different range of 20%, 30% & 40% by weight of sand. Material was produced, tested and compared with conventional concrete in terms of workability and strength. These tests were carried out on standard cube of 150×150×150 mm and beam of 700×150×150 mm for 28 days to determine the mechanical properties of concrete.","PeriodicalId":13853,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of ChemTech Research","volume":"28 1","pages":"47-53"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79285168","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many researchers have found various alternative pathways to overcome these drawbacks. The same products were obtained in a better way by process intensification. Any process can be intensified either by introducing entirely a new process or by combing two or more conventional methods to form a new hybrid process e.greactive distillation, micro-reactors, etc. Due to an increase in population and less availability of land, reducing the chemical plant footprints is highly appreciable which is possible by process intensification. In this paper, we have reviewed the majority of the processes that have been intensified into a new process such as bioprocesses, extraction, distillation, leaching, Biofuels production, Desalination, etc.","PeriodicalId":13853,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of ChemTech Research","volume":"22 1","pages":"402-412"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81487493","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Subjugation of the materials to stress and consequent reduction in the size of larger solid units into smaller or finer unit masses is called as comminution. The transmission of stress is through the application of mechanical force to the larger solid unit. The most common methods utilized in industries include the use of crushers and mills. The concept of comminution is not novel as it has been utilized by man since time immemorial. Even though many different size reduction machines are available currently the key is the knowledge on the properties of the material to be processed. Size reduction offers advantages like increased surface area and separation of entrapped components.","PeriodicalId":13853,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of ChemTech Research","volume":"221 1","pages":"48-54"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82364006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There was an increased consumer demand on new methods of food processing that have a reduced impact on nutritional content and overall food quality. Ultrasonic processing is still infancy and requires a great deal of future research work in order to develop industrial equipment. Ultrasound is found to be an effective method for microbial inactivation and greater efficiency is obtained by combination of ultrasound with heat and pressure. This technique is also used as an analytical technique to provide information about the physiochemical properties of foods. Ultrasound is more beneficial because less processing time, better product quality, less hazards and being eco-friendly. Now days mostly the construction researchers have been trying to improve the quality and reduced dead weight of the structure and enhance its performance. In this current situation there is a demand in natural sand so engineers are using manufactured sand. The aim of our project is to reduce the dead weight of the structure as well increase the strength of the concrete.So we developed light weight aggregate and sand by using waste plastic and glass materials. We developed a concrete by using crushed glass bottles and melted plastic which is considered as light weight concrete. Glass is an ideal material for recycling use of recycled glass helps in energy saving. This indicate that glass can be effectively used as a fine aggregate replacement without substantial change in strength and also we used aluminum metal powder for reducing the member weight by introduced air in concrete. For the innovative and aesthetic purpose we made the concrete to glow using plastic optical fiber which acts as a transmitting agent which also called as translucent concrete in which the optical fiber is inserted in parallel way. We used epoxy to harden the optical fiber (0.75mm) and M20 grade concrete.","PeriodicalId":13853,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of ChemTech Research","volume":"44 1","pages":"240-250"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87883163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method is based on the inhibiting effect of ranitidine on the rate of oxidation of malachite green (MG + ) with N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) The oxidation reaction was followed spectrophotometrically by measuring the rate of change of the absorbance of malachite green with time at λ=617nm in the presence of different concentrations of ranitidine using the recommended procedure. Ranitidine can be determined from 0.08 to 2.40 g ml -1 with a linear calibration graph and detection limit of 0.026 g ml -1 . The method was successfully applied for the determination of ranitidine in pure ranitidine samples and in ranitidine tablets. The recovery of the analyzed samples were 97-100% with relative standard deviation, sr (%) =1.14 x 10 -4 indicating high accuracy and precision of the suggested method.
