The proposed electronic circuits are created based on the well-known state variable approach and techniques for designing digitally programmable active filters and oscillators. The first filter can realize third-order low-pass and high-pass electronically tunable transfer functions, while the second one can realize basic biquadratic tunable functions namely: low-pass, high-pass bandpass and band-reject. The cutoff frequencies of the proposed filters are electronically tuned via external digital words, applied to the address inputs of CMOS digital potentiometers. The digital potentiometers are connected as variable resistors in CFOA programmable integrator structures. The validity of the filters is demonstrated by simulations and experimental testing of sample electronic circuits.","PeriodicalId":138347,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE 23rd International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115537689","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As vehicle move in an optimized manner and travellers are advised to use the most suitable transport means to reach their intended destination, the travel times and congestions decrease, the fuel consumption also decrease and the emissions are reduced. The key element is to have knowledge about the transport system in order to be able to process and distribute the information to all the traffic participants. A wide-spread data collection system may provide information that, through integration in other Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), will be able to provide an added value. Dynamic data collection systems, that imply information gathering along a route and data delivery in specific points (or continuously along the path) rely on communications that must ensure a proper handshake time and data rate to allow for all the relevant data to be sent. In different environments (city, highway etc.) where different speeds of vehicles have various influences on signal propagation, an initial evaluation of Doppler shifts of signal frequency depending on speed is important to reveal the probability for the receiver to be able to capture the modified signal. In this paper Doppler shifts tests have been performed for different speeds (inside and outside cities, highways) and conclusions are presented at the end.","PeriodicalId":138347,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE 23rd International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115657645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Examples come from thermal, vibration and high-voltage circuits and applications. After applying suitable transform to the analyzed signals an image is obtained, with relevant values concentrated in some regions. This aspect is known as energy concentration, which depends on the source of the signal and on the channel of the propagation. The region of interest must be selected and separately analyzed in order to extract the relevant information about the signal. The work promotes two approaches for this analysis: (i) by using time-frequency transform followed by region selection and feature extraction, and (ii) analysis of the information content, by using Renyi entropy. The key in solving the problem of analysis is to extract a finite and relevant set offeatures from the time-frequency image. The analysis from information point of view via Renyi entropy allows evaluating the signal complexity, in terms of the components number and basic properties of each component. The preliminary obtained results motivate us to continue the analysis and to develop new algorithms for the analysis of such signals.","PeriodicalId":138347,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE 23rd International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124752681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, electricity consumption monitoring systems have also evolved from standard meters to smart meters and smart grids. The solution which we propose in this paper brings several improvements to smart metering systems that exist in commercial solutions or in other works papers. Our proposed solution uses a fully autonomous, easy-to-install monitoring system which can be installed at different points in the power transmission network. The acquired data are analyzed by a high-level analysis system based on artificial intelligence (ANN). This allows the automatic identification of a one-day consumer profile. Further, by continuing the monitoring, it is possible to identify deviations from that profile and trigger alarms in this case. The solution can be used to detect potential fraud or unintended loss of energy that may occur because of malfunction of some devices.","PeriodicalId":138347,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE 23rd International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME)","volume":"136 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116384571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, control accuracy is fundamentally necessary for DC motors, where torque, force and rotational speed must be accurately calculated. Using real-time Hardware-in-the-Loop systems and mathematically characterized models, the desired performance can be achieved. The main purpose of this research is to develop a complex Hardware-in-the-Loop system through VeriStand software environment, to configure the real-time testing and controller design process. In addition to the benefits of this test system, the reduction in development costs and the time it takes for such a product is satisfied by the repeatability of the tests, the shortened validation process and the early identification of design problems.","PeriodicalId":138347,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE 23rd International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131521965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The measurements were carried out in a 0.38 wt % magnesium chloride solution and in various NaCl solutions: 0.1mM, 1mM, 10mM, 500mM and saturated one. After linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) measurements the solder alloys were also investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDX) methods. The LSV results showed that the corrosion resistance of Innolot was significantly lower compared to the other ones, such as SAC305 solder alloy in case of MgCl2. Moreover, according to the EDX results bismuth and antimony were detected in the products of Innolot using MgCl2 solution. In case of NaCl measurements, the results showed that Innolot has higher corrosion resistance in case of low, medium and saturated NaCl concentrations, while this result was changed at 500mM NaCl concentration level.","PeriodicalId":138347,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE 23rd International Symposium for Design and Technology in Electronic Packaging (SIITME)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129653691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
