Permasalahan penurunan kualitas tanah dapat diperbaiki dengan pemberian pupuk dari bahan organik menggunakan cara vermikompos. Keberhasilan vermikompos dipengaruhi media hidup cacing dan penambahan pakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian vermikompos hasil pemeliharaan cacing tanah pada berbagai bahan media dan pakan terhadap hasil tanaman sawi (Brassica juncea L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan secara faktorial dengan pola dasar RAL yang terdiri atas 2 faktor dengan 4 ulangan. Faktor berbagai bahan media yaitu Serbuk sabut kelapa, Jerami padi, dan Serbuk gergaji sengon. Faktor berbagai pakan yaitu limbah sayuran dan kotoran sapi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan Interaksi berbagai bahan media dan pakan memberikan pengaruh berbeda nyata pada tinggi tanaman (cm) dan berbeda sangat nyata pada volume akar (ml). Bebagai bahan media memberikan pengaruh berbeda nyata pada jumlah daun (helai). However, in cultivation activities, there are still constraints in the supply of porang seeds which are lacking so that production cannot meet export demand. Porang regeneration system in vitro is one alternative that supports the efforts of mass production of porang seedlings and breeding with biotechnology. The purpose about this study was for obtain porang regeneration that optimal method in vitro, both through organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis with explant using leaf of porang and with different concentrations and types of PGR. This research was conducted by descriptive and visual analysis. Indonesia mengimpor gandum pada 2019 sebanyak 10,629 juta ton dan pada 2020 sebanyak 10,229 juta ton. Benih gandum yang diimpor berpotensi sebagai pembawa patogen terutama cendawan yang bersifat OPTK golongan A1 sehingga penting untuk dilakukan deteksi awal patogen untuk mencegah penyebarannya di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi cendawan terbawa benih gandum asal Australia (Australia I dan Australia II) menggunakan metode blotter test. Tahapan metode ini sebagai berikut penyiapan sampel benih gandum asal Australia I dan Australia II, deteksi cendawan benih menggunakan metode blotter test, dan identifikasi cendawan secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Keanekaragaman cendawan terbawa benih gandum dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan karakter makroskopis maupun mikroskopis. Hasil pengamatan ditemukan 8 spesies cendawan terbawa benih gandum asal Australia (Australia I dan Australia II), yaitu Alternaria alternata, Alternaria brassicicola, Alternaria japonica yoshi, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger, Bipolaris cyonodontis, Penicillium sp., dan Rhizopus stolonifer. High concentrations and limited availability of in vitro culture are needed to obtain large numbers of orchids and their growth in a short time. Liquid MS media with protocorm like bodies (PLB) explants could be used to produce more optimal growth. This study aims to obtain the best combination of BA and NAA on PLB growth in liquid culture and the best PLB yield subcultures on media regeneration. Planting material using PLB age 3 months grown on liquid MS media with a combination treatment of BA and NAA at concentrations of BA (0 mgL -1 , 0.1 mgL -1 , 0.2 mgL -1 ) , NAA (0.5 mgL -1 , 1.0 mgL -1 , 1.5 mgL -1 ). Regeneration media using solid MS with organic ingredients 15% coconut water, 15% potato extract, 15% banana extract 0,2% activated charcoal. The experiment used a completely randomized design with three replications.
