In this article we review the recent trend towards non-deterministic (random) search techniques and hybrid methods for OPF and give the review conclusions. These methods have become popular because they have a theoretical advantage over the deterministic methods with respect to handling of non convexity, dynamics, and discrete variables. Present commercial OPF programs can solve very large and complex power systems optimization problems in a relatively less time. In recent years many different solution methods have been suggested to solve OPF problems. The review contributes a comprehensive discussion of specific optimization techniques that can be applied to OPF Solution methodology.","PeriodicalId":13702,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Energy","volume":"42 1","pages":"301-304"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77656133","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Radio propagation is essential for emerging technologies with appropriate design, deployment and management strategies for any wireless network. It is heavily site specific and can vary significantly depending on terrain, frequency of operation, velocity of mobile terminal, interface sources and other dynamic factor. Accurate characterization of radio channel through key parameters and a mathematical model is important for predicting signal coverage, achievable data rates, BER and Antenna gain. Path loss models for macro cells such as Okumura, Hata and COST 231 models are analyzed and compared their parameters.","PeriodicalId":13702,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Energy","volume":"2015 1","pages":"607-614"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87902770","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of these algorithms is to remove noise from a signal that might occur through the transmission of an image. In software, a smoothing filter is used to remove noise from an image. Each pixel is represented by three scalar values representing the red, green, and blue chromatic intensities. At each pixel studied, a smoothing filter takes into account the surrounding pixels to derive a more accurate version of this pixel. By taking neighbouring pixels into consideration, extreme “noisy” pixels can be replaced. However, outlier pixels may represent uncorrupted fine details, which may be lost due to the smoothing process. This project examines two common smoothing algorithms. These algorithms can be applied to one-dimensional as well as two-dimensional signals. For each of the two algorithms discussed, experimental results will be shown that indicate which algorithm is best suited for the purpose of impulse noise removal in digital color images.","PeriodicalId":13702,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Energy","volume":"40 1","pages":"246-253"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90595111","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It gives a brief introduction of high performance system-on-chip bus protocol termed as the master-slave bus (MSBUS). By taking into consideration the inevitable trade-off among area, throughput and energy efficiency, the control bus is developed as low-cost and lowpower bus whereas the data bus is created as a high-throughput full-duplex bus. This on-chip bus protocol is differentiated from other on-chip bus protocols with feature of efficient block data transfer. This MSBUS is an effective bus protocol in many applications such as image processing, computer vision, and wireless communication where it requires less hardware resources and achieves higher performance, especially in block transfer mode. The comparison is made between different protocols with respect to various parameters.","PeriodicalId":13702,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Energy","volume":"48 1","pages":"271-281"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73751217","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is a rapid demand for its generation both by conventional and renewable energy recourses. To address the environmental concerns and for overall economic development of the country, addition of major renewable sources of energy and transition from conventional energy systems to those based on renewable resources became necessary. Among several renewable energy resources, solar is identified as the main source for reliable power generation. In terms of cost of energy photo voltaic solar plants located in high solar radiation zones will have a greater economic and logistical advantage. In India about 58% of total land area (1.89 million km2) receives average Global Horizontal Incidence (GHI) above 5kWh/m2/day and can generate at least 77 W/m2. Andhra Pradesh State is one of the suitable locations in India for installing solar power plants due to the availability of about 300 sunny days in a year with solar insolation of about 5.5 to 6 KWh/m2/day. The proposed paper presents feasibility and energy yield analysis for a 5 MW photo voltaic based solar plant that can be erected at Rentachintala, one of the solar hotspot regions in Andhra Pradesh. This may attract investments and independent power producers for the establishment of solar power plant at that area and to some extent meets the objective of Indian solar power policy.","PeriodicalId":13702,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Energy","volume":"25 1","pages":"339-346"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84821805","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence, the present paper tries to introduce a new full adder cell by the use of carbon Nano-tube transistors technology for achieving a circuit with optimal performance and low power consumption. The proposed design consists of 12 CNTFET transistors which have been connected through the passing transistor logic. Carbon Nano-tube transistors show remarkable advantage over MOSFET transistors in consumption power and performance speed. The simulation of the proposed design was conducted based on CNTFET model and by using HSPICE software with the applying voltage of 0.65V and in three different values of frequency, temperature, and capacitor load. The results revealed that the proposed design bears some advantages over the same circuits presented in previous literature.","PeriodicalId":13702,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Energy","volume":"56 1","pages":"1184-1195"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84568978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
