Such UAVs are able to hover, take off and land vertically. In addition, it is relatively straightforward to design an on-board autopilot. In comparison with classical helicopters, multi-rotor aircrafts provide less dangerous testbed in urban and cluttered environments due to their small-size and light-weight blades. In this paper, we present two multi-rotor aircraft prototypes with payload up to one kilogram. In order to achieve greater payload capabilities and increase robustness due to motor failures, the presented prototypes have redundant number of rotors, one has six and other eight rotors. Furthermore, we propose algorithms for data fusion from gyroscopes, accelerometers, magnetometers and GPS for orientation and position estimation. Finally, control algorithms are designed in a multi-loop fashion and successfully tested on the prototypes. The design implements a new technique that servos the Phase Locked Loop (PLL) control voltage to compensate for PVT variations. By adjusting the size of the VCO's voltage controlled resistors (VCRs), the VCO achieves a wide frequency range without adversely impacting the stability or the natural frequency of the PLL. The KVCO variation is less than 3.9. Therefore, it is necessary to design a new algorithm, implemented in Labview, for the evaluation of these indicators. The program has been tested on a healthy subject and then a protocol has been written to verify the first results on patients. However, limited research is available on the design of residue-to-binary (reverse) converters for RNSs that use the diminished-one encoding in one or more channels. In this paper we introduce a simple methodology for designing such converters which can be applied to reverse converters based on the Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT) or the New CRT-I method. Efficient converters for three moduli sets, covering different dynamic ranges, are also analytically presented. They can be deployed as protection mechanisms to an organization's real systems, or as research units to study and analyze the methods employed by individual hackers. In this paper we present the results of a research honeypot's operation, which undertook the role of a web trap for attackers who target the SSH service in order to gain illegal server access. The fake system has remained online and fully operational during a course of several consequent months, capturing attacks and logging all malicious activity. During this assessment it was shown that honeypots remain very effective tools in gathering information about SSH attacks. Furthermore, we observed that attackers are constantly targeting servers in the wild employing ready-to-use tools and dictionaries, while their post-compromise actions include mostly pivoting and IRC-related activities. The growing reliance on renewable sources and their dependence on weather, nuclear uncertainty, market coupling and global financial instability are contributing to importance of accurate price forecast. Considering the fact that power markets are not equally developed, different price forecasting methods have arose. This paper provides an overview of notable price forecasting methods that have been published in research papers. The paper also includes statistical review of applied methods embracing timeframe, geographical background, statistical errors and other specific data. The objective of this paper is to develop Cumulative approach for fault location based on statuses of Fault Indicators (FI), Circuit Breakers (CB), Fuses and Fault Impedances from distance protection devices. This approach is using mainly graph theory algorithms and Area Marking Strategy to resolve fault diagnosis problem in electric power networks. Unlike neighborhood approach where one link only affects the marking of neighbor areas, cumulative approach marks all areas down the link. The paper includes a comparative analysis between the new construction of the outer-rotor synchronous reluctance motor and a similar salient-pole motor with outer ferromagnetic yoke. For the comparative analysis the electromagnetic torque-angle characteristics of the both motor types are calculated by the magnetostatic field analysis with the help of computer software QuickField.
