The proposed framework consists of a six-month English as a Foreign Language program that integrates technology and mathematical simulation in a STEAM-oriented methodology. The exercises are designed to enhance linguistic competence, with a focus on improving listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The framework aims to foster a positive learning environment that encourages self-determination and promotes sociocultural interaction. The integration of technology-enabled instruction and mathematical modeling offers a viable strategy for enhancing the language competency of non-native English speakers. However, further research and empirical analysis are necessary to evaluate the impact of this framework on academic performance. Despite this limitation, the proposed framework offers a promising approach to address the challenges faced by less proficient Malaysian students in acquiring English language skills. In conclusion, this paper presents a conceptual framework that integrates technology-based instruction and mathematical modeling in a STEAM-oriented approach to enhance the English language acquisition of less proficient Malaysian students. The framework is grounded in sociocultural and self-determination theoretical perspectives and aims to create a positive learning environment that promotes linguistic competence.","PeriodicalId":13648,"journal":{"name":"Int. The study participants consisted of all staff of the faculty (274) of Ajman University who were selected from different faculties with different specializations in the academic year 2020-2021. A questionnaire, consisting of (38) items, was developed as an instrument for the study after its validity and reliability were verified. The results indicated that faculty members' perspective of Ajman university as one of UAE universities as being highly prepared, well trained, and equipped to apply online learning at the period of the Covid-19. The findings also indicated that the faculty members’ perspective related to the process of teaching and learning via online learning reached at a moderate level, and the obstacles encountering the application of online learning reached at a high level, while their perspective concerning suggestions to develop the online learning experience was at mid-level. Faculty members' responses regarding applying online learning differed according to the college variables came with favor for Medicine college, depending on the year of experience (in favor of 5- to less than 10 years), and depending on gender and academic rank of faculty members (the perspective of faculty members is statistically insignificant according to the gender and academic rank variables)","PeriodicalId":13648,"journal":{"name":"Int. It is found that university students' existing digital literacy can not effectively support their mobile language learning practices, which shows that the former has a significant impact on the application level of the latter. The two are significantly related in many elements, but the matching degree between many pairs of related elements is low and the deviation is large: the existing acquisition skill of digital literacy have a negative impact on the satisfaction and usefulness of mobile language learning; Low-level creative skill have a negative impact on the usefulness, convenience and satisfaction of mobile phone language learning. Therefore, measures such as promoting the development of general digital literacy to specialized digital literacy, adopting digital literacy promotion plan that integrate daily contact and training interventions, carrying out teaching activities based on low deviation matching, and using demographic characteristics to adjust digital literacy can improve the level of mobile language learning adoption.","PeriodicalId":13648,"journal":{"name":"Int. Information is mostly presented in different forms, i.e., PR on websites, mobile applications, or social media; including field PR at different sites, e.g., department stores and schools. However, the limitations and the problems are that presented information fails to attract or motivate perception, interest, and participation of the target groups. Also, traditional PR requires resources in terms of persons, time, and a large amount of expenditures. Thus, this research aimed to present the development of a game to present information for PR of bachelor’s curriculums using Unity3D, which could reduce the limitation of presentation or PR in the traditional forms. It could also save PR budget and could be done anywhere and anytime.","PeriodicalId":13648,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Interact. Mob. There are two causes for this occurrence. First, the DES algorithm's complex mathematical structure allows it to serve as the theoretical foundation for a wide variety of applications. Second, the encryption technique works quite well in practice for a variety of applications when implemented correctly. In this paper, we undertake a thorough and practical review of the theoretical aspects of this sort of encryption algorithm and demonstrate how they have been implemented by executing multiple encryption configurations. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":13648,"journal":{"name":"Int. Primary schools establish the groundwork by teaching fundamental technology ideas. Digital programs are favored over old paper-based approaches in response to current demands. The essential objective of this research is to show how information and communication technology (ICT) can improve the quality of teaching, learning, and motivation among primary school students. A questionnaire has been sent to 80 teachers at elementary schools, and a quantitative methodology was utilized to examine their thoughts. As an evaluation instrument, an eight-question quiz has been utilized to assess the usefulness and significance of ICT in promoting active and autonomous learning, resulting in creating a student-centered education approach. According to the research, the majority of teachers support the use of ICT as an of use pedagogical tool that fosters a proactive learning culture in young learners.","PeriodicalId":13648,"journal":{"name":"Int. The problems of restricting access to individual records are arising increasingly in connection with the growing need for flexibility in restricting access in modern databases, including when using them to store information classified as state or commercial secrets. Currently, these tasks are solved individually, and there are no commonly formalized approaches to designing such access restrictions. The study aims to reduce the design time for database schemes when it is necessary to restrict access to individual records of the database tables and improve the quality of the designed schemes by using the proposed algorithms. Questions about the design of the protected databases with the use of access restrictions to separate records are considered. Both restriction of illegal access to records, and granting false camouflage information instead of required is considered. The proposed software package will consist of 2 main parts: a database and a client application. To differentiate access, the study proposed the use of a record-protecting lock.","PeriodicalId":13648,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Interact. Mob. In recent years, computer science has advanced exponentially, helping significantly to identify and classify text extracted from social networks, specifically Twitter. This work aims to identify, classify and analyze tweets related to real natural disasters through tweets with the hashtag #NaturalDisasters, using Machine learning (ML) algorithms, such as Bernoulli Naive Bayes (BNB), Multinomial Naive Bayes (MNB), Logistic Regression (LR), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Decision Tree (DT), Random Forest (RF). First, tweets related to natural disasters were identified, creating a dataset of 122k geolocated tweets for training. Secondly, the data-cleaning process was carried out by applying stemming and lemmatization techniques. Third, exploratory data analysis (EDA) was performed to gain an initial understanding of the data. Fourth, the training and testing process of the BNB, MNB, L, KNN, DT, and RF models was initiated, using tools and libraries for this type of task. The results of the trained models demonstrated optimal performance: BNB, MNB, and LR models achieved a performance rate of 87% accuracy; and KNN, DT, and RF models achieved performances of 82%, 75%, and 86%, respectively. However, the BNB, MNB, and LR models performed better with respect to performance on their respective metrics, such as processing time, test accuracy, precision, and F1 score.
