Using the geometric approach, an intrinsic characterization permitting to design such an observer is stated in G. Basile and G. Marro (1969), R. Guidorzi and J.S. Marro (1976) and S.P. Bhattacharyya (1978). In this paper an unknown input observer design for a class of state affine systems is considered. As in S.P. Bhattacharyya (1978), a geometric sufficient condition is given in order to design such an unknown input observer.","PeriodicalId":136064,"journal":{"name":"2004 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology, 2004. Our final aim is the characterization of a multimode waveguide which uses this kind of crystal. In this case the optical propagation properties are strongly modified by the anisotropy of the photonic crystal. The transmission of a plane wave depends on the wavelength and its direction. Also the geometries of the structure must be taken into account. The results are obtained by using numerical tools: finite difference time domain (FDTD) and plane wave method (PWM).","PeriodicalId":136064,"journal":{"name":"2004 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology, 2004. It allows the user to see computer generated virtual objects superimposed upon the real world through the see-through head mounted display. Technician of maintenance when using this system can interact with the virtual world and have additional information, such as instruction for performing maintenance tasks inform of text messages, images, 3-D models of pieces or audio such as speech instruction. In this paper, we describe a prototype of a maintenance system based on distributed augmented reality in industrial context. In such an integrated environment it is, at times, necessary to bring in a new application in order to replace an outmoded one or to provide functionality that is not available in the existing environment. The process of introducing a new application is very complicated and can be extremely costly in terms of time and resources. In This paper we propose an architecture system for the integration of manufacturing production and planning (MP/P). The proposed system exploits the open Internet standards and is based on connection bidirectional Model through an intermediate entity called Web service management.","PeriodicalId":136064,"journal":{"name":"2004 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology, 2004. The machine has two three phase windings spatially shifted by 30 electrical degrees. The dynamic model of the machine is based on the three two dimensional orthogonal subspaces. The proposed method uses a simple estimator for identifying rotor flux and its orientation. Space vector PWM technique based on the space vector decomposition is employed. The simulation results illustrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":136064,"journal":{"name":"2004 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology, 2004.
