Counselling services are widely available, but because depression is a stigmatized illness, many people who are depressed decide not to seek help. Therefore, it is essential to develop an automated system that can recognize depression in individuals before it worsens. In this study, a novel approach is proposed for identifying depression using a combination of visual and vocal emotions. Long short-term memory (LSTM) is used to assess verbal expressions and convolutional neural networks (CNN) to analyze facial expressions. The proposed system is trained using features of depression from the distress analysis interview corpus (DAIC) dataset and tested on videos of college students with frontal faces. The proposed approach is effective in detecting depression in individuals, with high accuracy and reliability.","PeriodicalId":13480,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science","volume":"11 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141233576","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In May 2023, the number of loans will increase by 3.36%. This is due to the inaccuracy of creditors in assessing prospective debtors. Several methods of valuation of prospective debtors have been widely used, but the use of the test big five personality (TBFP) method for the assessment of prospective debtors has not been found. This study will use TBFP as an input variable that will be calculated using fuzzy-Mamdani. The output of the system is in the form of a recommended percentage (%) of the loan amount. This research needs to be done to provide an assessment of prospective debtors to be more objective so that bad credit problems can be reduced. The results of this study are taken into consideration to be used as input in assessing prospective debtors that are more appropriate so that it has an impact on increasing income. For the community can increase business activities. For the government to help people’s economic activities. Our research still needs to be developed by adding variables such as the financial condition of prospective debtors, psychological values, and loan history. Through a comprehensive performance analysis, we evaluate its effectiveness compared to the widely used perturb and observe (P&O) algorithm, which is a common MPPT technique. The main objective of our proposed MPPT approach is to improve the performance of a photovoltaic (PV) system. To evaluate the performance of the proposed MPPT controller and compare it with the P&O algorithm, we designed and simulated both controllers using MATLAB/Simulink. We also implemented a prototype of the controllers using an Arduino Mega board, and evaluated their performance under real operating conditions. The experimental results unequivocally confirm that the fuzzy logic-based MPPT controller outperforms the P&O algorithm in terms of performance, speed and accuracy. The fuzzy logic controller offers greater accuracy in tracking the maximum power point under various environmental circumstances, including variations in solar irradiation and connected load. Overall, this work contributes to the development of efficient and reliable MPPT controllers for PV systems, and provides a comparison of the performances of two popular MPPT techniques. Future research could explore other MPPT techniques and evaluate their performance using similar experimental setups.","PeriodicalId":13480,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science","volume":"17 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141229621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The concept is to visualise patients as nodes and interactions representing links. Links are made based on review text similarity. Nodes are categorized as positive or negative according to the patient’s attitude toward a given drug. Attitudes are then utilized to categorize the links as supporting or opposing the use of a certain drug. If both patients share the same attitude: negative (severe side effect) or positive (moderate side effect), the relationship is considered supportive; if not, the link is considered opposed. Resulting graph represent a drug as a dispute between two factions arguing on related drug. The framework is explained and evaluated using a dataset included 3,763 patients’ reviews linked to 255 different drugs, -predictive-value (0.37). We argue that, this is caused by derogatory jargon that is an expected feature of patient’s review. The true-negative-recognition-rate is 0.70 and true-positive-recognition-rate is 0.54. Total-average-accuracy, which is independent of class priors, is 0.66. The results of empirical studies are then presented. The methodology is presented as a non-invasive method of blood glucose monitoring based on near-infrared spectroscopy. To precisely evaluate blood glucose concentrations, spectroscopy techniques involving absorption and reflection are employed at wavelengths 450, 900, 1350, and 1800 nm. After absorption and reflection of glucose molecules, light is generated. An experimental study of different samples revealed a linear relationship between the final output voltage and sugar concentration. The results demonstrate a correlation between blood glucose level and signal intensity after transmission.","PeriodicalId":13480,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science","volume":"31 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141231860","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article presents the main areas of application of homomorphic encryption. An analysis of existing developments in the field of homomorphic encryption carried out. The analysis showed that existing library implementations only allow processing bits or arrays of bits and do not support division and subtraction operations. However, to solve applied problems, support for performing integer operations are necessary. Because of the analysis, the need to implement the homomorphic division and subtraction operations identified, as well as the relevance of developing our own implementation of a homomorphic encryption library over integers. The ability to perform four operations (addition, difference, multiplication and division) on encrypted data will expand the areas of application of homomorphic encryption. A homomorphic division and subtraction methods proposed that allows the division operation performed on homomorphically encrypted data. Our approach incorporates 16 pre-trained model variants from EfficientNetV2, MobileNetV3, and ResNetV2 for transfer learning as feature extractors. The experimental findings demonstrate that the best model that leverages EfficientNetV2 variant achieves 100% accuracy and F1 score in terms of classification performance.
