Asadi","doi":"10.52547/ethicnurs.7.3.4.16","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.52547/ethicnurs.7.3.4.16","url":null,"abstract":": The purpose of this study is Comparison of the principles of nursing ethics in two methods based on problem solving and conventional education. and This experimental study has been conducted on 140 undergraduate nursing students using random sampling. Who divided into intervention group (72 subjects) and control group (70 subjects). A three-part tool has designed by the researcher. The first part has related to the demographic data of samples, the second part measurement of the ability of nurses to differentiate nursing ethical values and the last part is a measurement to analyze students’ learning satisfaction. Data analysis has been done by spss16 and using descriptive statistics and T-test. The scores of moral nursing discrimination abilities in the problem-based learning group are greater than that of the control group. Moreover, the results of pre-test and post-test reveal that there is significant difference between the outcomes of pretest and post-test for both groups. According to the study results, the satisfaction level in the intervention group is greater than that of the control group. The problem-based learning method influences ethical performance and traditional teaching methods on how students learn and observe ethical principles. To assess student learning, post-test was used and to assess students' satisfaction with teaching method, the Satisfaction Teaching Method Questionnaire was used. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire were confirmed in this study. Therefore, data were analyzed using SPSS version 17 software and paired t-test. The results showed that 16% of students believed that game-oriented teaching was excellent and the rest said that it was average and fine. 87% of the students evaluated their learning using the game-based teaching better than the other methods. The mean (SD) in game-based teaching was 14.82 (3.66) while it was 13 (3.34) in the conventional. Comparing these two methods with paired t-test showed a significant difference between the two methods (p = 0.000).
