The Ottoman Empire see its “postnisin” in the Haci Bektas Veli Lodge as its addressee at the point of representing the Bektashis. Postnisin is one of the sons of Haci Bektas Veli, was a member of the Celebis, he was given the authority to present the sheikh candidates to the center to be appointed to all Bektashi lodges in the Ottoman Empire. As far as can be determined, the first document on this subject belongs to the year 1610. However, it was understood from the content of the document that Pirevi had this privilege right in the past years. This privilege granted to Pirevi was violated from time to time by people such as the governor, kadi, naib and mütevelli. Persons who were not competent in the appointments made as a result of the violation took over the management of the Bektashi lodges and seized the revenues of the lodges and unqualified people caused the devastation of the dervish lodges by mistreating the members of the sect. Pirevi, who did not remain silent about this situation, had complained to the center of such attempts in order to protect its privilege. In this direction, Pirevi was given a certificate of privilege that established its dominance over Bektashi lodges at certain intervals. Although documents containing privileges were given to Pirevi in certain periods, this privilege continued to be disregarded in the appointment of sheikhs in some lodges due to outside intervention. In this article, the concession right given to Pirevi and the situation in Bektashi lodges as a result of the violation of the right of privilege have been tried to be revealed. Keywords: Bektashism, Hacı Bektaş Veli Dervish Lodge, Ottoman Empire, Prerogative, Right of Supply.","PeriodicalId":133846,"journal":{"name":"Edeb Erkan","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124413731","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The work is a first hand source about the personality, caliphs and legends of Sari Saltuk, which was seen by the author himself. In terms of containing the most ancient information about Sarı Saltuk, it is also a source for the history of Anatolian Alevism. At the same time, Ibn al-Serrâc, the sheikh of Rifaî, includes information and legends about Ahmet er-the Rifaî, founder of the sect, and the Rifaî dervishes up to his time. It narrates the narratives of many Sufis circulating among the people, such as Zünnûn Mısrî, who is one of the leading names in the history of Sufism, Hallaj-ı Mansur, Abdulkadir Geylâni, Ibnu’l-Arabi, as well. Brief information about Baba Tahir-i Uryan is given based on the information in the sources. Secondly, the tomb of Baba Tahir-i Uryan and the cupola over his grave are discussed in the study. The cupola was in ruins and the remaining part was completely destroyed and a new architectural work was built in 1965. The architecture of the work is Mohsen Foruqhi. Since there are no detailed publications written in Turkish about Baba Tahir's cupola, in this study, the architectural and ornamental features of Baba Tahir's cupola were examined at the location of the subject and translated into text as a result of observations. The first and only visual source showing the traditional architecture of the cupola is Minorsky's photograph. Based on these photographs, the demolition of the cupola on Baba Tahir-i Uryan's grave and the construction of a new one has been interpreted as the disappearance of the space embodied by the space related to his art, architecture, aesthetics, poetry and ingenuity. The loss or loss of the space that this photograph points to and reminds, suggests that Baba Tahir-i Uryan was presented to the new world with the new work and accepted by the new world. Baba Tahir-i Uryan is an important sufi who lived in the city of Hamadan, Iran. The poems of Baba Tahir, whose works such as Divan and el-Kelimatu'l-Qisar have survived, deeply influenced many poets and mystics after him. In this study, the records about Baba Tahir-i Uryan in his period and later years are included, and Baba Tahir's understanding of wisdom is also briefly explained based on the available data. Today, the names of Otman Baba and Sheikh Bedreddin are still remembered by their affiliated communities. Otman Baba came to the Rum Diyarı from Khorasan with Timur. Sheikh Bedreddin met with Timur in Tabriz. In the legends of both sheikhs, Timur is mentioned and information is given about his relations with Timur. The political and military relationship, evaluated with the Battle of Ankara between Timur and Yıldırım Beyazıt, has a transference determined by the parties' own points of view. Apart from the political and military transmission, it is stated in the sources that Timur acted with many scholars and sheiks in his movement to Anatolia or that many scholars and sheiks met with him. This point both points to the problematic part of the field and provides an example that can draw attention to the wider and framed field that will contribute to overcoming this problem. According to this, both Otman Baba and Sheikh Bedreddin lived in Timur's time and carried out many activities after Timur. As a result, Timur brought Otman Baba with him from Khorasan and continued the relationship of Anatolia with Khorasan. The last connection with Horasan as the source of Anatolian wisdom was provided by Otman Baba. Later, the knowledge of Khorasan continued in Azerbaijan and reached Anatolia. However, Sheikh Bedreddin movement has an important place among the sufi or religious movements that emerged in Khorasan, Azerbaijan and Anatolia during and after the Timurid period. Sheikh Bedreddin movement was the beginning of a new era in which political and administrative thought and understanding were discussed and a different understanding was practiced. Although there are many rumors about the legendary life of him, the chronicles don’t contain enough information about his historical personality and family. On the other hand, it is known that the families (Hüseyinoğulları/Leğenuşağı/Leviuşağı) who are descendants of Koluaçık Hacım Sultan, have played an active role in the religious life of Aleppo Turkmens -especially the Karacali obas since 16th century. Although the members of the Od̲j̲aḳ have various documents related to the history and practices of the Od̲j̲ak, there was no research/study contributing these documents to the literature. In this context,it is evaluated that by examining various documents meaningful results can be obtained in terms of understanding the perception of faith, as well as contributing to the elimination of a gap in this area. Therefore, I will focus on id̲j̲āzas dated 1815 and 1843, a manuscript about initiation rituals applied in this Od̲j̲aḳ and a Velāyetnāme of Hacım Sultan, was coppied in 1898 with qualitative research and document inspection methods. In this context, I will translate into Latin letters and review the Id̲j̲āzas and document on initiation rituels and review the context of them, and introduce this newly discovered copy of the Velāyetnāme. As a result of the study, based on the history and documents of this Od̲j̲aḳ, I will evaluate the events after the prohibition of Bektashism in 1826. The current representatives of the association consider Bozoğlan lying on the Bulgarian mountain, as their saint. Bozoğlan's tomb is known to have been the place of shelter for those who took refuge after the Babai uprising before the 14th century. This family seems to have settled in the Bozok region after the 15th century. According to archival records, this family was from the “Ağca Koyunlu” tribe. Arzuman Yunus, the head of the family during this period, received a caliphate name from the Safavids. It is understood that groups of this association were involved in some political events around Bozok in the 16th century. Following these events, family members left Bozok for Sivas Yıldızelin. After this period, the association lost contact with its suitors and became a smaller association. Bektashism in the region was first represented by Abdal Musa, who grew up in the Hacı Bektaş Veli Lodge. In the region, Gazi Umur Bey is the person who, according to tradition, was dressed in a börk by Abdal Musa and given moral support for the conquests. The traces of Bektashism in the region go back to the Aydınoğulları period. Bektashism spread through Kusadasi to Rhodes, Lemnos and Crete in the Mediterranean. Represented by the janissaries in the city in the 17th century, the order was spread by the deceased Muhammed (Mehmed) Dede and Derviş İsmail in the Bayraktar Dede Tomb at the beginning of the 19th century. Bektashism, which was banned in 1826, was revived in the city at the end of the 19th century with immigration from Crete, and just before all dervish lodges, zawiyas and tombs were banned in Turkey, the sect was popularized by the Cretan immigrant Hüseyin Cevraki (Cevre) Baba. Hüseyin Cevraki Baba, an extremely knowledgeable and wise person, turned the vineyard house in the city's İkioklu District into a convent. Yunus Ölmez Baba and Assoc. Dr. Bedri Noyan Dedebaba is one of the beneficiaries of this modest convent in Kuşadası. Bektashi convent in Kusadasi was closed with the death of its founder, Hüseyin Cevraki Baba. Although the Cevraki Bektashi Cemetery, which is named after the family, remained behind, unfortunately, not even a Bektashi honorary gravestone has survived from this cemetery. In this study, the subject of Bektashism in Kuşadası has been tried to be explained with the information obtained from archival documents and first-hand sources.
