At the same time, there are difficulties with modeling turbulent flow, computational complexity, which in turn stimulates the search for alternative methods adapted for computer implementation. Recently, cellular automata – based modeling methods have been used to study various physical processes, which attract by their simplicity and versatility. The paper describes a quasi-three-dimensional and three-dimensional model of cellular automata for calculating the dynamics of snow avalanches. Avalanches are divided into small elements - cells or elementary machines. Each cell is characterized by its own parameters. The presence of vulnerabilities enables a third party to breach the security of information. Threat modeling helps to identify those infrastructure areas, which would be most likely exposed to attacks. In some cases, threat modeling cannot be classified as sufficient protection method. This paper entitled \"Formalization of attack prediction problem\" presents an analysis of different techniques with an attempt to identify the most informative parameters and attack prediction markers, which would lay the foundation for the development of attack probability functions. The obtained functional dependencies should be formally verified for further testing by a real system. Existing methodology is also specified and our own approach to the assessment of the effect of non-sinusoidal voltage on transformers’ technical and economic performance is suggested. We separately analyze the effect of voltage imbalance and non-sinusoidal supply voltage on transformer's performance and its technical and economic performance. The quality of the results of the applied methods is estimated using various quality metrics.
