We analyze a methodology for calculating additional power losses as well as that for calculating the excessive temperatures of power transformer windings caused by low quality of the supply voltage. Existing methodology is also specified and our own approach to the assessment of the effect of non-sinusoidal voltage on transformers’ technical and economic performance is suggested. We separately analyze the effect of voltage imbalance and non-sinusoidal supply voltage on transformer's performance and its technical and economic performance. Abstract
