The existing package version 1.1 supports 26 types of strip lines and allows carrying out calculation of all parameters, which are needed for subsequent circuit-analysis of the microwave devices. There are two design modes. The first mode is one with fixed parameter values, and the second mode is one with varied line parameters in a desired range. The design results are presented as either a numerical table or graphic plots. There is also an opportunity to generate a design report. The quasi-static analysis based on a novel algorithm, which combines a method of enclosed subregions with conformal mapping technique, is used for calculation of the the stripline parameters. Some results of numerical modeling in comparison with known ones are submitted. The package LINES DESIGNER 1.1 is intended for use in Windows 95/98/NT. There is also a DOS version.","PeriodicalId":132112,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the IEEE - Russia Conference. 1999 High Power Microwave Electronics: Measurements, Identification, Applications. However construction of similar equalisers can be essentially simplified, using for these purposes controlled digital filters. Thus the characteristics of such algorithms not only concede the similar characteristics of adaptive digital filters, but even surpass them. The essence of the offered method is the use of the principle of a relativity for construction of similar equalisers. The use of properties of a relativity for creation of such equalisers is named by the author the relative compensatory method.","PeriodicalId":132112,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the IEEE - Russia Conference. 1999 High Power Microwave Electronics: Measurements, Identification, Applications. These systems can operate separately (for example, as a resonant filter returned by a varactor) or be a part of a circuit (in some generators a section of the line is inserted between the transistor base and collector). In general such units can be considered as distributed systems with the lumped nonlinearity. The experiments with various transmission lines with silicon varactor diodes have shown, that at high power of external periodic excitation these systems demonstrate a hierarchy of periodic, quasiperiodic and chaotic oscillations. Various scenarios of transition to chaos are observed, and namely via a cascade of period doubling bifurcations, intermittency and collapse of torus. A low-dimensional model has been constructed, qualitatively representing the parameter space structure of the distributed system. The purpose of the present paper is to investigate the influence of the varactor diode location on the dynamics of a driven microwave resonator and to model this situation with nonautonomous circuits.","PeriodicalId":132112,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the IEEE - Russia Conference. 1999 High Power Microwave Electronics: Measurements, Identification, Applications.
