The practical importance of the research work is in development of the step-time algorithm of fuzzification of continuous physical sizes of technological process of a boiler and the block diagram of management of a steam boiler as a superstructure above classical PID-adjusters with variable factors. The block diagram of regulating process of burning and steam formation is constructed based on a system of production rules of the two-digit logic. Parameters of the quality and power efficiency of the automatic controlling a steam boiler with an indistinct adaptation of the PID-adjuster are presented. The 3-D model of management of burning and steam formation processes in a steam boiler has been developed in the fuzzyTech's environment. The analysis of a surface of the constructed model of management is presented. A number of search methods are considered: constant voltage method, open voltage method, short circuit method, method of observing perturbations and incremental conductance method. A complex model of the photovoltaic power plant with the controller has been developed. The simulation results are presented. The model validity was evaluated by the known technical characteristics of the Solarex MSX 60 module. The calculation results proved that the obtained volt-ampere and volt-watt characteristics of the model are compatible with those of the manufacturer. Therefore, it is worth to implement the analysis with the help of an artificial neural network. The application of the artificial neural network for diesel engine fault clustering allows reducing the amount of stored data by creation of a knowledge database for the weighting factors. Self-training makes it possible to revise this database, improving the accuracy of clustering, and to modify network structure, in case the new types of faults will appear. The modified neural network training algorithm involves the usage of input vector data originally found within each cluster group as the initial weighting factors. This algorithm allows decreasing the load on the computing devices by reducing the number of training cycles in comparison with other existing algorithms. The goal is to understand and develop a recognition system of mathematical formulas and symbols. The article deals with the basic provisions of neural networks, which principle of work is based on functioning neural networks of the human brain. We describe a mathematical representation of the pulse passing through the synaptic connections of neurons and their processing for further action. It describes problems at creation and use of neural networks, which lead to restriction of the scope of information being processed, complication of the structure and the emergence of new tasks to be solved. The article also suggests some ways to resolve these difficulties. Based on the study, the authors review a stepwise algorithm of the neural network, which allows recognizing the symbols and mathematical expressions. The description of the model and results of Matlab simulation are presented for the 11 kW induction motor electric drive. The equations for determining temperature and active power losses of both insulated and bare conductors are determined. The advantages of these ratios are correct account of resistances depending on the temperature and analytic form of equations. A quadratic form of the heat balance equation for the case of natural convection is offered. The advantage of the equation is convenience of the analysis considering the conductor temperature, wind speed, current load and solar radiation. The accuracy of the developed approach is compared with the calculation results obtained with the same formulas used with the CIGRE method. It gives an analysis of the harmonic structure of the rectified current when used in the traction substations with various circuits of rectifier transducers. It is shown that the rectifier transducer is the source of the harmonic components of the alternating current and has a range of magnetic intensities, which harmful effects on staff have not been studied so far. It has been shown that lowering the level and composition of the higher harmonic components of the primary current and power network is promoted by the use of multi-pulse converters in traction substations. The article shows basic analytical relations that allow calculating the levels of harmonic components of the currents and the parameters of the induced magnetic fields when a primary AC of a rectifier transducer has sinusoidal nature. The calculation of the magnetic field intensity caused by harmonic components of the rectified current of sinusoidal nature shows that in some cases there are exceeded maximum values of the magnetic field (MF) of 50 Hz. Based on the guaranteed approach and interval computations, the proposed algorithm finds interval estimates (information sets) of unknown variables. Common estimation techniques (least squares method, modifications of the Kalman filter for nonlinear systems) can be combined with the proposed guaranteed algorithm to overcome the difficulties related with a small number of available observations and nonlinearity. The created model allows modeling the continuous spectrum of processes in any particular type of these prime movers with the high completeness and adequacy, which is important for an adequate simulation of normal, emergency and post-emergency regimes and processes of electric power systems.
