A number of search methods are considered: constant voltage method, open voltage method, short circuit method, method of observing perturbations and incremental conductance method. A complex model of the photovoltaic power plant with the controller has been developed. The simulation results are presented. The model validity was evaluated by the known technical characteristics of the Solarex MSX 60 module. The calculation results proved that the obtained volt-ampere and volt-watt characteristics of the model are compatible with those of the manufacturer.
