Thirty students enrolled in the Intensive Course Program (ICP) in the English Language and Translation Department of the Sciences and Arts College in Unaizah, Saudi Arabia, participated in this study. Information on the factors affecting students’ acquisition of English Language speaking skills was gathered using semi-structured interviews with students who were usually active participants in the classroom. A qualitative content analysis was used to analyze the interview-generated data. The qualitative data was interpreted using manual coding, which requires thoroughly in-depth reading of the transcripts and assigning codes and themes. The findings of the study revealed that Qassim University EFL students’ acquisition of English language speaking skills is affected by a variety of factors including psychological factors such as motivation, lack of confidence, second language anxiety, shyness and introversion, pedagogical factors like classmates’ behaviors, teaching methods and materials, instructor’s feedback, classroom atmosphere, topical knowledge and interest, class size, and linguistic factors such grammatical understanding, vocabulary knowledge, and correct pronunciation. It can therefore be assumed that the factors affecting English language speaking acquisition among EFL students have to be considered within multidimensional aspects rather than simply originating from students themselves. Section (9) points out that everyone has the right to be protected against unfair discrimination. This does not leave anyone out, whether pregnant or not. Furthermore, the Screening Identification, Assessment and Support policy (RSA 2014) also indicates that parents and educators are critical to the support for all the learners who require additional support that encourage their participation and inclusion in school. This qualitative case study investigated the perspectives of a high school principal and educators regarding the inclusion of pregnant learners in mainstream education. A purposive sample of 1 principal and 4 educators was selected from one high school in the central Free State province of South Africa. Semi-structured interviews with the sample were conducted with each individual. A thematic analysis was used to analyse the audio taped data after it were transcribed from the interveiws. The results showed that, educators expressed misgivings regarding pregnant learners’ attitude and behaviours after falling pregnant. Some learners sought to hide pregnancy from school authorities to avoid the bureauctic process and protocols that followed especially being regularly accomponied to school by parents. The principal and educators feel that educators are not adequately equiped to deal with pregnant learners’ issues especially in cases where the pregnancy is concealed. The study recommends that teachers should be offerred appropriate support in terms of knowledge and skills through periodic training to eanable them to offer social and psychological support to pregnant learners. Moreover, we recommend that all girl learners, be educated before and during pregnancy regarding official pregnancy policy and guidelines. The article is devoted to the study of factors influencing the successful development of the intellect and creative individuality of a gifted child. The purpose of this study is to determine the functions of teachers and parents in the development of a gifted child, to identify the conditions for their close cooperation in the formation of favorable opportunities for the development of children's giftedness. For theoretical analysis, a methodological approach was used for a thorough analysis of scientific sources and literature in the field of developing the intellectual and creative abilities of gifted students. The study identified the important features of effective pedagogical process in the gifted students’ education throughout the world. The professional and personal qualities of teachers necessary for working with gifted children are considered. The activities that are important to carry out with parents for a favorable and effective interaction with children are identified. The qualities that parents must possess in order to contribute to the development of their child's creative abilities are noted. The pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of preparing parents for interaction with a gifted child are analyzed. This method of teaching is rather captive and it has really a good drive among the students. The article is constructed on the shared experience with a famous storyteller and teacher-trainer Michael Berman.\u0000We often give stories to our students to read, but how often do we tell them a story? One can hardly find a person, who was not brought up on the stories, told by the grandparents or parent. Sitting at the fireplaces or bedsides, stirring childhood’s rich imagination, and travelling on the paths of imaginary world like Alice in wonderland or Harry Potter… if it was not so, some others, perhaps, used to read fairy-tales and myths, folklore, legends or real stories.\u0000 We hope the readers and learners would agree with us, that childhood ‘s stories stay in mind for ever ,as the first impression and experience you have got at your young age is unforgettable and the most impressive knowledge of the world and life! If we look beyond the immediate human suffering in these cases, we find that international armed conflict is one of the underlying causes of poverty, inequality and economic stagnation. Children and education systems are often the targets of violent conflict. It is necessary to liberate all the energies and capabilities of education in order to become a force for peace, therefore the Preamble to the Constitution of UNESCO declares that “since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defences of peace must be constructed.” (UNESCO,2011) There are no more immune bulwarks than public behaviours and attitudes based on tolerance, mutual respect and a commitment to dialogue, which must be developed and refined every day in classrooms around the world. If schools are used in another way, i.e., as a tool for the development of a spirit of intolerance, chauvinism and disrespect for others, this not only leads to ignorance but also paves the way for violence. Official and non-official stakeholders involved in the United Nations system should take an active role in rebuilding education systems in conflict-affected countries, drawing on work in the areas of intercultural dialogue in order to spread peace, curriculum development, teacher preparation and textbook reform, passed Many years since the establishment of the United Nations, the nature of the challenges posed by the militants has changed and the methodology of conflicts has changed, but the principles, values and institutions on which the regime is based have not changed, though the United Nations has retained its credibility and remained in force as always. In his article, the author refers to the necessity of education in building societies, drawing on examples from the history of nations to inform the public of the need to support educational institutions by states, governments and even at the level of individuals and civil society activists because of their profound impact on the sustainability, goodness and prosperity of societies.
