However, the prevalence of stunting in East Nusa Tenggara Province is still the highest in Indonesia from 2013 to 2022. One of the areas in the province where the prevalence decreased from 2021 to 2022 is Kupang City. Oesapa Community Health Centre was appointed by the Indonesian Ministry of Health as a pilot health centre representing Kupang City. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of specific nutritional interventions for handling stunting based on the variables of communication, bureaucratic structure, resources, and disposition in the target group of pregnant women which will be associated with the target achievement of specific nutritional interventions based on Presidential Regulation No 72 of 2021. The research used qualitative methods with triangulation of informants totalling 5 people, data triangulation, and triangulation of methods, namely in-depth interviews and observations. The results showed that interventions in the form of providing additional food to pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency conditions and pregnant women who consume blood supplement tablets at least 90 tablets during pregnancy have successfully reached the target. Other Community Health Centres can make the Oesapa Community Health Centre a barometer in providing health services, especially in specific nutrition interventions aimed at target groups of pregnant women so that they work together in accelerating the reduction in stunting prevalence.","PeriodicalId":127352,"journal":{"name":"Preventia : The Indonesian Journal of Public Health","volume":"38 13","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141716622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Government Regulation no. 61 of 2014 concerning Reproductive Health mandates sexual and reproductive health education in formal and informal education settings. By using a systematic literature review (SLR) method, this study assesses the current state of school-based sexual and reproductive health education in Indonesia. Findings reveal that the delivery of sexual and reproductive health education in Indonesian schools is fragmented, spread across various subjects such as Biology, Sports, Religious, Civic and Moral education classes, as well as extracurricular activities. Key stakeholders, including families, teachers, peers, and school principals, play crucial roles in shaping adolescents' understanding of reproductive health. However, challenges such as cultural taboos, easy access to potentially misleading online information, and inadequate teacher training hinder effective education. In addition, Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) has been suggested by WHO to be implemented and integrated in the core curriculum, with programs like SETARA pilot project showing promise in improving adolescent knowledge and attitudes towards reproductive health. However, the success of such programs requires cooperation from various stakeholders and a shift in societal norms regarding adolescent sexuality.","PeriodicalId":127352,"journal":{"name":"Preventia : The Indonesian Journal of Public Health","volume":"1973 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141707437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Misinformation and misperceptions circulating in the community as well as the role of the media add to concerns about the impact that e-cigarettes can have. Therefore, a transformation of health promotion efforts to save future generations from the dangers of e-cigarettes is needed. This study aimed to analyze the effect of health promotion media in reducing the willingness to smoke e-cigarettes in adolescents. This study used a quantitative analytic design with primary data. The instrument used was a questionnaire which was filled out independently by the respondents. Data collection was carried out online using a small group trial. Data analysis was using Mc Nemar test. The bivariate analysis showed that the three challenges had an impact in the form of increasing knowledge and perceptions. On the knowledge variable, the whole challenge gave a significant increase with the results of sig. 0.025 on the challenge of providing visual media socialization, sig. 0.014 on the challenge of providing audio-visual media socialization, and sig. 0.008 on the active participation challenge. Adolescent perceptions also increased before and after a series of challenges was given. The provision of health promotion with these three challenges had a significant difference of sig. 0.031 on adolescent perceptions. There were differences in adolescent knowledge and perceptions of e-smoking behavior through the using of health promotion media. The most effective method used in changing the knowledge and perceptions of adolescents is to use the active participation of adolescents.","PeriodicalId":127352,"journal":{"name":"Preventia : The Indonesian Journal of Public Health","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124132343","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
