In this paper, we propose a solution for distribution of log files between servers. We create simple laboratory environment, where we design and implement unique configuration for distribution of log files, and we demonstrate our approach by a simulation of simple intrusion, which is recorded in the appropriate log file, that will be distributed. Then, we specify this process by suitable logical system's formulas, and we prove then using Gentzen's sequent calculus.","PeriodicalId":126087,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 12th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"102 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116300297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are several inverse heat transfer calculation methods to determine this quantity, but these are usually based on heuristics search algorithms and require high computation demands. This paper presents a solution to this problem with special usage of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), the universal function approximator. After the time-consuming training process, this network is capable of giving prompt estimations about the nature of the HTC function sought. This estimation would be a useful input for additional fine-tuning algorithms.","PeriodicalId":126087,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 12th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115814264","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper is focused on modeling the control function of the system during an exercise scenario. In this scenario, the cardiovascular system is driven from the rest steady state to the exercise steady state. A review of different state feedback control models synthesis is made and a new control function is introduced. The new control function uses the heart rate and the arterial systemic pressure as feedback variables. These signals correspond to regulatory mechanisms and can be experimentally measured. The synthesis method is based on physiological reasoning and allows adding new terms based on physiological assessments of the cardiovascular system behavior. The proposed control function is validated through two case studies. It has the advantage of using minimal and easy to obtain information from the cardiovascular system.","PeriodicalId":126087,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 12th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116253122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main hindrance to the development process of such applications is represented by the vast amount of computational power needed to train such structures. Various hardware solutions arose to this problem, most of them relying on the intrinsic parallelism found in modern Graphical Processing Units. On the other hand, once the learning process was finished, the functional phase (inference) of the neural network require substantially less hardware resources enabling thus potential realtime solutions. Our work provides an extensive overview regarding currently available embedded solutions for Deep Neural Networks implementation, pointing out the main characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. We also demonstrate through experimental results that the effect of combined hardware optimization and suitable deep architecture could substantially decrease the inference process execution time.","PeriodicalId":126087,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 12th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128688910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The discussed result refers to sets of continuous-time positive linear time-invariant (LTI) systems and ensures the existence of CDLFs with quadratic form. We prove that exactly the same hypothesis as considered by the commented result can guarantee the existence of CDLFs defined by arbitrary Hölder vector p-norrns, 1> p>. The proposed expansion, besides the criteria for the existence of CDLFs, also includes procedures for their concrete construction. A separate section of the paper is reserved for sketching the transfer of our approach from continuous-to discrete-time dynamics (although the commented article focusses exclusively on the continuous-time case). An example inspired from the control engineering literature illustrates the applicability of the theoretical developments to a set of 16 continuous-time positive LTI systems.","PeriodicalId":126087,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 12th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128190208","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the paper we investigate the dynamics of DMSP-5 fluidic muscle, which is treated as a SISO system with voltage as an input variable and its displacement as an output variable. Based on the random step excitation, it is shown here that Hammerstein model, which is an attractive model from control viewpoint, can be a suitable model architecture for modeling its dynamics. Possible structure of this model with 2-zeros, 3-poles linear transfer function and sigmoid neural network approximation of static nonlinearity is identified and used for initialization of the estimation algorithm. The resulting model is based on triangular excitation signal using Levenberg-Marquardt optimization algorithm and achieves 93% fit on test data with total of 12 parameters.","PeriodicalId":126087,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 12th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI)","volume":"461 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114831642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
