An alternative to alleviate this problem is the use of Distributed Generation. This model helps not only to the generation, but also may include storage. Distributed generation systems contribute to minimize losses in transmission systems, sub-transmission and distribution, and also offer the possibility of a combined heat production as well as electricity. Within this field, micro-grids are defined as systems smaller than 5 kW with can include connection to the main grid; moreover, its more versatile characteristic is the possibility of store electricity produced in any given period of time. This paper presents a state of the art analysis of the technologies that would allow using distributed micro-grids to feed coincident loads. An example of matching loads is a massive insertion of induction cookers. The main component of the system is a programmable frequencies transmitter and a free hardware device called SDR which allows us to work in bands ranging from 88.0 MHz to 108 MHz corresponding to FM,. For this, it has been built an experimental mechanism that allows acquiring the radiation intensity in different angular positions, based on far-field measurement techniques and probabilistic analysis, which shows a good performance. This technique provides a fast and simple method for verifying antenna radiation patterns; software has been developed to perform this measurement procedure, allowing efficient determination of the components of electric and magnetic fields that form the pattern. In particular, in order to obtain the radiation pattern an example proposed, this one is based on Yagi-Uda antenna with six parasitic elements of variable length. Artificial intelligence, computer vision and time of flight (TOF) technologies are used to compute both distraction and drowsiness indexes in real time. The system uses an algorithm that uses various internet sources such as Web Sites of the Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN), United States Geological Survey's (USGS) and Twitter of SSN (@SSNMexico). The system bases the estimation of damage using the seismic region where the point of interest is located in addition to its building quality. The Power Plants of CFE were taken as points of interest. There are 45 seismic regions in Mexico which were analyzed in order to pool those with similar characteristics resulting 3 pooled seismic regions: Cortex, Intermediate Depth and Subduction. In order to estimate the damage caused by an earthquake, a calculation of the Site Seismic Energy [Energía Sísmica de Sitio (ESS)] and the Corresponding Mitigation Laws is performed based in the location of the epicentre and its distance from the points of interest (the power plants). If the earthquake magnitude was equal or greater than 5°, the seismic report is sent by e-mail; to avoid the system sending duplicate reports, a between-events time window of one minute is considered with the same magnitude reported from different sources. If an event that caused some damage to the power plants is reported, a special mail is sent to the affected power plants responsible showing them the earthquake general information and a table of effects only with the power plant at their charge and the map with the epicenter marker. The aim is to increase the accuracy of the damage estimation by the creation of the ESS Tables for more specific entities (eg. Powerhouse, Laboratory, Offices, etc.). Currently, when potential damages are reported at the Power Plants, it is not exactly know at which area the damage could occur, so it is used to send engineers of different specialties for analysis and damage repair. This article describes a prototype FPGA implementation, of a delay-and-sum beamformer in the audio frequency range. This prototype is essentially a real-time acoustic camera, which is used to estimate a sound field intensity. Data acquisition is performed by means of a 4-microphone square array and the delay- and-sum beamforming algorithm is implemented on a Xilinx Spartan 3AN FPGA. Simple and precise close-form analytic expressions related to byte error probability for the transport stream layer, as a function of the energy per modulated symbol for Viterbi hard and soft decision decoding are derived. Vibrational analysis is a powerful method for analyzing any machine in the industry, but this method uses expensive signal conditioning/processing devices and significant expertise for the analysis of signals in the frequency domain. In this context, this study proposes a new system of failure detection in machine can be done with digital Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters. The systems of data Adquisition are compose with the test machine, accelerometer (model-353B17) and PCI-4474 Data Acquisition Card. The data from test machine are evaluated in both optimal and failure conditions. To evaluate the FIR filters system, a system was designed with the Xilinx System Generator. The structure design had four filters for evaluating gears and bearings separately. In failure condition the filters 1, 2, 3 detected failures in their amplitudes, but for bearings just the filter 4 detected a failure. To validate the system it was implemented in a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Spartan 3E where the design optimizes hardware resources and has the same responses than Xilinx System Generator.
