The results of the pine trees growth with different apophysis of the cones seed scales from different habitats (the basins of the Northern Dvina, Pinega, Vaga rivers and the mouths of the Mezen and Vychegda rivers) are presented. Significant differences in growth were established between trees with a «convex» and «flat» apophysis of the cones seed scales in the basins of the Northern Dvina, the Pinega and the Vaga rivers and the mouth of the river Vychegda. The values of radial growth in trees with a «flat» apophysis of the cones seed scales are lower than in trees with a «convex» one. It was revealed that different forms of pine have low and close values of the «sensitivity» index (19...27 %), and the variability of this indicator in the more northern coenopopulations is characterized as medium, and in others as medium increased. According to the «stress index», trees of different forms are characterized by a stable and less resistant state to conditions of excess moisture. The cenopopulation of pine at the mouth of the river Mezen and the river basin Pinega established close average values for this indicator. In the river basin of the Northern Dvina, in trees with a «convex» shape of apophysis of the cones seed scales, the average value of the «stress index» is lower than with the «flat» apophysis. In the river basin Vaga and the mouth of the river Vychegda the value of the «stress index» is higher in trees with a «convex» apophysis than in trees with a «flat» shape. Significant correlations were established for the radial growth of various pine trees and air temperature in the study areas. The results obtained can be used in solving environmental problems connected with climate change.","PeriodicalId":12343,"journal":{"name":"Forestry Bulletin","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91534798","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Individual elements were evaluated in the car. The operation of the Ponsse-ERGO harvester was carried out on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The duration of observations was 10 500 hours. During this time, each node revealed a certain number of failures and the average recovery time after node failure. Based on the results of the calculations, a probability diagram of the harvester system states and a Pareto diagram (accumulated probability of system failures) are constructed. According to calculations, it was determined that the greatest probability of failures falls on the hydraulic system of the transmission and hydraulic manipulator. These elements of the machine account for the main load during its operation. A detailed analysis of the reasons for the failure of a logging machine during its operation is presented. It was revealed that the main reasons for the failure of the hydraulic system are: violation of the tightness of the connection pipelines, increased wear of the moving elements of the assembly, contamination of the hydraulic fluid, not always satisfactory work of the service personnel. Also, the most common reason for stopping the harvester during operation is the failure of the saw headset. An increase in the harvester’s performance and durability can be achieved by optimizing the operating conditions of the logging machine, and optimally selected design material that has higher technical characteristics that strengthen the part itself and the wear surface.","PeriodicalId":12343,"journal":{"name":"Forestry Bulletin","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76368144","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The possibility of growing a multipurpose promising subtropical plant in this arid region is shown. It has been established that in the first year after planting, the survival of a crop without irrigation in semi-desert conditions is 4 times lower than with irrigation which makes up 25 %. Strong frosting of jujube does not cause the plant death. With a well-developed root system, the aerial part is completely restored and the reproductive capacity is restored in the same year. It was revealed that with growth and acclimatization, fruiting becomes more abundant and amounts to 10 kg per tree.","PeriodicalId":12343,"journal":{"name":"Forestry Bulletin","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73229406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both models are based on the formalization of the state of plant species using linguistic variables that model the evaluation actions of experts in fuzzy conditions. The first model, developed earlier by the author, allows you to find the ratings of green spaces by comparing their states with each other. Thus, the resulting rating of the state of a plant species provides information about the advantages of one species over another, but does not provide complete information about the real state of green spaces. At the same time, it is possible that all plant species from the considered population, regardless of the rating, are not resistant to harmful urban environment. The second model, developed in this article, allows you to find the ratings of plant species based on their ideal state. For this, the distance between the linguistic variables that formalize the real state of a plant species and its ideal state is determined. Since the states of green spaces are compared with the ideal state, and not among themselves, the resulting rating of one plant species does not depend on the data obtained in the evaluation of other species. The developed models allow their alternative application depending on the goals and objectives.","PeriodicalId":12343,"journal":{"name":"Forestry Bulletin","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90937405","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although Pinus sylvestris L. is one of the most common species in Europe and Asia, the widespread felling of scots pine, due to the great demand for its valuable raw materials, created the need for the renewal of this breed. Artificial restoration of scots pine often occurs with the help of seeds of medium or low quality, due to the absence or shortage of high-quality raw materials. The solution to this problem can be the use of preparations that improve the quality characteristics of seeds. Therefore, the main task of our study was the impact on seeds, in order to improve their basic qualitative characteristics, of the proposed growth regulator — condensate formed during the drying of wood in the drying chamber of a woodworking enterprise. The reasons for choosing condensate were the content of a large amount of useful substances, cost-effectiveness, environmental safety of use for both humans and the environment, and ease of use. The results of the experiment showed that the germination of seeds was 97 %, and the germinative energy was 87 %. In addition, during the processing of the results of the experiment, it turned out that the substance under the study affects the ability of the seeds treated with it to resist rotting. The protective properties of the condensate are indicated by an insignificant amount of rotted seeds, which ranges from 0 to 1 %. Another weighty argument in favor of the use of condensate seeds for growth stimulation is the waste-free production which is undoubtedly an urgent direction today.","PeriodicalId":12343,"journal":{"name":"Forestry Bulletin","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91441693","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
