Therefore, it has achieved an important place in a digital circuit. In this work, the design of an efficient 2:1 demultiplexer structure based on a 3-input majority gate is proposed. This DEMUX design outperforms the existing 2:1 DEMUX designs available in the literature in terms of effective area, cell count and delay. The proposed demultiplexer design has 0.25% less effective area, 21 number of QCA cells with the delay of 1 clock cycle.","PeriodicalId":122176,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th IEEE International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115477535","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The multimedia data mostly contain digital images. Over the years, the multimedia contents have become more complex. Especially the images, have shown exponential jump. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other different archives are flooded with more than millions of images every day. Searching for the right image from the archive is a difficult research task for the computer vision technology. Over the past two decades, there has been an increase in the research area of content-based image retrieval (CBIR), analysis and image classification using deep learning methods. The deep learning methods proved to be an alternative for manual feature engineering where hand-crafted features were created depending on visual contents like shape, color, texture and were adopted in early days. Deep learning is capable of learning the features from the data automatically. Research done in the field of CBIR has shown that, there remained a remarkable gap between the features presented and the visual perception of humans. Researchers focused on reducing this semantic gap to enhance the efficiency of CBIR. This paper shows a decade review of the recent development in CBIR using deep learning methods is done. We will do the performance analysis using the state-of- the-art methods. It will help in future development and research growth in deep learning image retrieval systems.","PeriodicalId":122176,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th IEEE International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128924083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Energy efficiency is not only based on the architecture of the system but also on the environmental condition. For that reason, low power RAM will increase the performance of the system even in extreme conditions. In this project, we are advancing towards a design of RAM that will consume less power even in extreme conditions. Four contemporary FPGAs are used for implementation of our RAM design and we find the least power consumer among these four FPGAs architectures. We find a 20.24% reduction in power consumption at 5pF, when we migrate our RAM design from Kintex-7 architecture to Artix-7 Architecture. The results are gathered by using Xilinx Vivado 19.1 tool with VERILOG hardware description language.","PeriodicalId":122176,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th IEEE International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"304 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128743607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The given absorber consists of circular resonators and circular ring resonators at each corner, a rectangular resonator at the edges, an annular ring resonator and a star-shaped resonator at middle of the novel geometry. The resonators are mounted over an FR4 dielectric substrate having a thickness of 0.6mm completely backed with copper of thickness 0.035mm. The novel geometry shows peak absorption of 98.96%, 98.61%, 95.21%, and 99.81% at the frequencies of 6.3GHz, 8.3GHz, 10.2GHz, and 11.1GHz respectively. The unit cell geometry has full-width half maxima (FWHM) for the center frequencies of 230 MHz (6.41-6.18 GHz), 300 MHz (8.46-8.16 GHz), 330 MHz (10.39-10.06 GHz), and 490 MHz (11.39 - 10.9 GHz) for the four absorption peaks. The four-fold symmetry of the structure ensures the polarization-controlled behavior. The surface current distribution is also carried out for both the upper most and lower most surfaces of the presented geometry. The geometry is also examined for both transverse-magnetic (TM) and transverse-electric (TE) polarization mode plotting 45° of angle of incident.","PeriodicalId":122176,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th IEEE International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121106131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Performance improvements of IIoT networks using Software Defined Networking (SDN) can be analysed observing QoS metrics like Reliability, delay etc to make autonomous processes resilient. An example floor plan of the manufacturing industry with machines, sensors, actuators, equipment etc. connected to a wired/wireless networks is simulated in the mininet platform. Simulations are performed with respect to different network topologies, traffic patterns, node density etc. It is observed from the results that suggestions can be given to improve the network performance to dynamically adapt to optimal topology/traffic pattern for an existing or to be commissioned factory network. It is observed from the results of this work that the impact of the different topologies will affect the delay significantly and analysis of this work gives an insight of effects of topology, node density, no of hops, link breakages etc on IIoT networks. The SDN mesh topology showed an increased delay of 26% compared to the tree topology and industries may implement mesh topology if reliability is critical for the processes at the trade-off of increased delay.","PeriodicalId":122176,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th IEEE International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116343010","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
