In particular, family members of an\u0000infected individual can have higher risk of developing PBC. Here we present two of three siblings who did not have any clinical symptoms.Case:Three siblings, who are 44, 53 and 51 years old respectively, were diagnosed as PBC. One of them excepted and the others were asymptomatic and the 44 yearsold\u0000women has a known results of PBC such as icteric sclera, ascites, prolonged prothrombin time, elevated INR and splenomegaly. On the contrary, other two sibling\u0000did not have symptoms associated with PBC but the screening tests diagnosed PBC.Discussion:In conclusion that familial PBC is not rare, that it is related to maternally inherited factors. PBC may be initially asymptomatic and therefore family\u0000screening is important in the early diagnosis and treatment.

The objective is to describe Signs and Symptoms caused by the\u0000Abnormal Insufflated Balloon of the Endotracheal Cannula on patients undergoing Cervical Spine Surgery under General Anesthesia. Methods:Descriptive study, 39 patients underwent cervical spine surgery under general anesthesia, all of them were older than 18 years old and ASA I and II. The\u0000pressure balloon inflation of the endotracheal tube was measured by a manual manometer VBM Medizintechnik GmbH, measurements were made at the beginning of\u0000the procedure, and every hour during the transanesthetic period. The patients underwent a questionnaire about their symptoms on the recovery area and 24 hours\u0000after extubation.Results:39 patients, 59% men, 41% women. Average age was 47, minimum 15 – maximum 77, SD 14.26 years old. The average pressure balloon inflation at the moment\u0000of intubation was 30.7 mmHg and at the moment of extubation was 29.07 mmHg. The symptoms presented on the Recovery Care Unit and at 24 hours were: pain,\u0000inflammation, dysphagia, foreign body sensation. Conclusions:The pressure balloon inflation of the endotracheal cannula is important, because a pressure greater than 30mmHg produce symptoms. Changes on the\u0000patient’s position produced variations on the balloon pressure; therefore, continuous monitorization of the pressure baloon must be done.

High levels of serum calcitonin were detected.\u0000The histopathological analysis of biopsy material was typical carcinoid tumor. Laryngeal tumor resection and left neck dissection were performed. The histopathologic\u0000result was TTF 1 and calcitonin positive primer laryngeal typical carcinoid tumor with cervical lymphoid metastasis.
