Lithuanian students’ non-formal education centre has been working purposefully for eight years seeking for the outburst in the country schools creating educational environments and using them for educational needs. \u0000In this article impressions and discoveries are generalised, experienced participating in the national evaluation commission work of the Republic school educational environment contest of 2018 and recommendations are presented for the school outdoor educational environment creation and activity development. Corresponding to the aim, it was sought to answer the following questions: 1) Why is Republic school educational environment contest so important and what is its mission? 2) What are the tendencies of fostering and use of Lithuanian school outdoor educational environments for education? 3) What should be recommended for schools, willing to maximally use outdoor educational environments for educational purposes?\u0000 Positive 33 school experience is discussed, creating outdoor educational environments and applying them for education. It is examined, why it is useful to have an outdoor educational environment plan; why outdoor classes are necessary and what they could be; what environments meant for games, languages, artistic education the researched schools have established; how outdoor educational environments are used for natural science education and so on. It is discussed, what else the visited schools lack in outdoor educational environments, how one should supplement them. Two teachers (both females over 50 years of age) were giving their usual physical education (PE) lessons (45 min x twice a week) during the study period. Teacher of group 1 (G1; n=15) had a qualification of a general educator, and had other educational activities and duties with her group. Teacher of group 2 (G2; n=15) was a specialist of PE and had PE lessons for kids, only. The motor skills development was tested at baseline (T1) and repeated after six months (T2). To investigate children motor skill development, the battery of the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD2) was used. The testings were filmed using a digital camera for a later evaluation analysis. All testing and evaluation procedures were performed by the same exercise expert. The intra- and inter- group differences were performed using t-test where testing occasion (T1, T2) was considered as a dependent variable, and group (G1, G2) – as an independent variable. The percent analysis was used in evaluating the performance of motor skills development tasks.\u0000Over the six month course significant and greater improvements were observed in running and object catching skills in children who had PE educator classes comparing to those who had PE classes of a general educator (p<0.05). A tendency of significant changes to be achieved in the skills such as kicking and throwing an object was also observed in G2 (p=0.06-0.07).\u0000We may conclude that the impact of an educator, specialized in PE, for improvement of locomotive and non-locomotive motor skills development of children is greater than that of a general educator of kindergarten kids.\u0000Keywords: pre-school children, Physical Education, locomotive skills, non-locomotive skills, TGMD2

The theoretical section has revealed that the foreign studies propose to change educational system moving from the direct memorization, the knowledge reproduction to the knowledge interpretation, reasoning and using historical sources not only to obtain the necessary information, but to use it as evidence to create historical understanding. This approach is influenced by constructivism ideas, which encourage students to be active in the learning process. The basic idea is that history learning encourages students to think critically and defend their views by advancing sound arguments. When students is involved in argumentation process, they not only express their minds, but also they use language to improve their intellect and reasoning skills. We called argumentation as giving reliable arguments from historical sources to support statement.\u0000The aim of the research is to identify how argumentative skills changes while working with historical sources through well-planned educational activity. The following research methods have been employed: the educational and psychological literature analysis, the education program analysis and the questionnaire of the tasks (taking into account primary education curriculum in Lithuania) whose data have been investigated using the qualitative analysis methods. Organization of educational activities and repeated research on abilities.\u0000The conclusions show that 4th formers are sufficiently successful in giving statements and arguments to support statement while working with historical sources. They are insufficiently able to give sound arguments, because it requires to understand source’s reliability. The additional educational activities have slightly contributed the improvement of the 4th formers’ argumentative skills. They used the primary and secondary sources to construct a statement supported by the arguments and some evidence. Students have noticed that the arguments found in the primary sources are far more convincing and sounder than in the secondary sources. After this activity students are sufficiently successful in making a statement and giving arguments and reliable evidence to support statement.\u0000The research data have revealed that using historical sources in argumentation tasks developed not only argumentation (language subject), but also understanding historical source as evidence (history subject) abilities. \u0000Keywords: primary education, teaching argumentation, teaching history, working with historical source.

In the current society, cooperation is very significant, covering various spheres of life, as well as educational institutions. \u0000The effectiveness of an educational institution's activities depends on the involvement of parents in its activities, and one of the main goals of the school is to encourage parental involvement in the activities of the school community. \u0000The population of the research carried out primary school teachers working in Siauliai city and district schools and pupils’ parents. During the study, 52 primary school teachers and 148 primary school pupils’ parents were interviewed. The study combines quantitative and qualitative methods (questionnaire with closed and open questions).\u0000An analysis of the research data has highlighted the following: both groups of respondents acknowledge the importance of collaboration, indicate successful cooperation conditions, but evaluation of it is slightly different. Both teachers and parents have made a number of rational proposals for improving co-operation. The proposals presented by them revealed a partial mismatch between the opinions of the two groups of respondents.
