The results showed that the predictive accuracy highly depends on the treatment of stated intention and the interpretation of the inertia term, and may produce the serious biases in demand forecasting when discrepancy between stated intention and actual behavior was high. On the other hand, repeatedchoice data between existing alternatives with various hypothetical settings might be worth utilizing since it significantly improve the statistical efficiency of the estimated parameters and predictive accuracy.","PeriodicalId":115282,"journal":{"name":"Infrastructure Planning Review","volume":"180 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125053290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the large-scale underground area should be focused as the difficult place for people to recognize their direction. To attain smooth walking, this study examines the Guide by Sign that is one of the basic measures for smooth walking in Large-scale underground area. The authors proposed a system concept of signs and a rule of exit numbering from the view point of sequence while walking. Also digital images are used in experiments which simulate sequential scenes in underground area. It was confirmed that the experiment in a virtual space was able to know people's tendency when he/her is usually walking.","PeriodicalId":115282,"journal":{"name":"Infrastructure Planning Review","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123027146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, the following thing became clear. It is very likely that the information-related item is tied to CS improvement influence degree to the CS is big and by performing a business in CS value being low with precedence. I can perform a business operation the needs of the customer can choose an adapted important point measure among CS findings and to be based for a PDCA cycle. Besides their economic perspective, this paper compares the environment-related effects of the Hard Time Windows (HTW) and the Semi Soft Time Windows (SSTW). Along with using exact solution techniques for both the HTW and SSTW scenarios in the Vehicle Routing and scheduling Problem, a detailed-link-based environmental analysis is performed on a practical test instance using real road network. The SSTW case was found not only economically viable but environmentally more sustainable as compared to the HTW case with lower emission intensities.","PeriodicalId":115282,"journal":{"name":"Infrastructure Planning Review","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130520749","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We develop a multiagent-based simulation model composed of two agents: urban expressway company and traffic management company. These two agents can sense their circumstances and aim to increase their own income through the interaction of their behavior resulting in improved traffic flows. This model allows to find out what traffic management policy can provide improved traffic flows and increased amount of income of urban expressway company. The results of the simulation would offer interesting suggestion to the highway company which tries cost reduction at the time of privatization.","PeriodicalId":115282,"journal":{"name":"Infrastructure Planning Review","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126471426","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is found that there exists order effect in the point-basis evaluation by using the controlled evaluation data and the driver's utility data, and the precision of the model is improved by considering order effect.
