As the partial differential equation (PDE) descriptions of the systems are unknown, the local modeling approach is used to estimate the dynamics of the system based on the input-output data. Based on finite local models, each local controller output can obtain through minimizing the local optimization objective. The global controlled outputs can be solved by linear programming where the deviations of the global spatial temporal outputs from their spatial set points over the prediction horizon are considered as the optimal objective. The accuracy and efficiency of the proposed methodologies are tested in the cross-flow heat exchanger.","PeriodicalId":114901,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122801067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Algorithms with cascade structure like Adaboost are booming in the recent decade, and successful in realtime application. However, most of them use a sliding window protocol on multi-scale images which involves heavy computing. Therefore, they are only suitable for simple feature. In this paper, a biologically inspired method is proposed. We learn patch-based features for vehicle detection by unsupervised learning, and then employ a visual saliency step after feature extraction. Instead of sliding window, a candidate region is sent to classifier only if its features are “salient” on whole image. As the number of candidate regions decreases dramatically, it allow us to utilize complex feature to increase description ability. Experimental result indicates less computational expense and good performance.","PeriodicalId":114901,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"311 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122637257","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The general case of path planning problem with constraints is formulated as a standard multiphase Bolza problem. Accuracy is improved by increasing degree of the polynomial approximation in particular mesh intervals based on the relative errors of states. Numerical simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method is effective and available for solving the FFSM trajectory optimization problem.","PeriodicalId":114901,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114279884","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A set of reduced-order basis was identified using Karhunen-Loève (KL) decomposition of MR thermal images. Each image can be compressed with a relative small number of identified KL basis functions. The proposed approach can be used in real-time compression of imaging data in order to minimize a potentially massive amount of information that must be exchanged between the MR scanner and the treatment controller, and reduce computer storage requirements during thermal treatment. Simulation and MR thermometry experimental results demonstrate that the proposed image compression method is also effective in suppressing high spatial-frequency MR measurement noises.","PeriodicalId":114901,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122091008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One day and one week ahead load has been got by combing peak load and valley load with similar day load change coefficient. Guidance command of angle of attack and sideslip angle is appended when considering reentry velocity. Synthesized guidance command is the sum of needed guidance command and appended guidance command. Effect of attitude control for vehicle is compared using optimal guidance and adaptive proportional guidance law, the attitude of vehicle is stable and the vehicle is guided to target point using adaptive proportional guidance laws.
