The unstable flow not only causes a drastic reduction in the performance of the compressor but also can damage to engine's components during operations. Thus it is necessary and critical to employ various feedback control mechanism to stabilize the system. Current all proposed feedback controllers in literature require the full information of the disturbance at the duct entrance, which is an infinite-dimensional quantity and thus is impossible for a direct on-line measurement in reality. In this paper, we construct a local state observer which can deliver the full information of the disturbance by only sensing on an arbitrarily small area at the duct entrance. The approach relies on the semigroup theory as well as operator spectrum analysis. Numerical simulations are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed observer by demonstrating different types of flow situations for the aeroengine compressors.","PeriodicalId":114901,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132107317","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data was acquired through the R&S spectrum analyzer FSP7. With analyzing the influence of cable aperture on enclosure shielding properties through simulation and measurement, the optimization of explosion-proof enclosure was finished according to the distribution of radiated interference characteristics and simulation of the trumpet structure shield performance. As a result, with the optimization of explosion-proof enclosure, the false alarms of methane sensor significantly reduced; however, there were still occasionally false alarms when nearby electrical equipments were switched on and off. Therefore the complex EMI filter was put forward at power ports and the EMI was controlled within the allowable range. The running results demonstrated that the problem of false alarms had been resolved successfully. It is concluded that the improved shielding and filtering are highly significant in enhancing the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) of the methane sensor.","PeriodicalId":114901,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"147 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133184620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, based on an improved estimation of distribution algorithm, an optimization learning method COR_MUMDA for fuzzy rules is proposed. This method can generate fuzzy rules directly from numerical data. The method learn fuzzy rules mainly based on MUMDA (multi-group univariate marginal distribution estimation algorithm). Unlike the general estimation of distribution algorithms, MUMDA can increase the diversity of the population and avoid sticking at local optima. In addition, the elite genetic strategy is used to generate the next population. In this way, it reduces the possibility of losing the optimal solutions. To verify the efficiency of this algorithm, the simulation experiments are performed. The comparative results of three classic examples are given.","PeriodicalId":114901,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127424604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are two main difficult issues in this method: one is to specify exact labels for the online samples, the other is to avoid template drift that caused by wrong update of the classifier-like appearance model. To overcome the problems, a novel tracking algorithm based on online Multiple Instance Learning (MIL) and entropy particle filter is proposed. Main contributions of our work are: (1) we introduce MIL in particle filter visual tracking framework to reduce the online training error of the classifier-like appearance model; (2) the appearance model consists of an initial fixed MIL classifier and an online dynamic MIL classifier; (3) a particle set maximum negative entropy criterion is designed to online fuse the two classifiers. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.","PeriodicalId":114901,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133828870","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The mathematical model of BAV was derived and the hybrid dynamic characteristics of the vehicle were analyzed. A hierarchical control framework with two level controllers for BAV was presented and described as hybrid automaton. Design method for the two level controllers was given. The usefulness and effectiveness of the proposed hierarchical coordination control method were demonstrated through numerical simulation. The results showed that the vehicle accomplished guidance and control mission successfully under the control of the designed controllers, though there were modeling uncertainty and disturbances. The main concern is that the equilibrium of the closed-loop system drifts with the change of the parameters. First, the impact of the parameters on the equilibrium location is investigated. The proposed method combines different optimization techniques to produce a robust control that accounts for uncertain parametric variations, and the corresponding equilibrium shifts.
