This study is aimed to study the significance of bunga terung based on Ferdinand de Saussure’s Linguistic Unit comprising of Sign, Signified and Signifier. In Borneo, the bunga terung is worn by Iban men who have attained puberty to signify entry into adulthood. There are varying practices on the sequence of application of the bunga terung between the Iban of Sarawak and Kalimantan. An interesting observation regarding the sequence is the time the bunga terung is received. In Sarawak, the isi ginti (fish hook) tattoo is worn first – pre-puberty, followed by the bunga terung, and the pantang rekung leher (neck tattoo) before other tattoos for the back and the legs. In Kalimantan, the bunga terung is not worn if the Iban male has not gone berjalai. The significance of the study represents in reviewing one of the experiences of distance e-learning at the beginning of pandemic, to find out the positive aspects and try to identify the shortcomings with a view to controlling them in the future. The study sample consisted of (20) students specialized into one experimental group from Nizwa University-Sultanate of Oman- College of Arts and Sciences- Department of Education and Humanities Culture- Fine Arts Program- Fashion Design Major. The study also aims to show the capabilities provided by the University of Nizwa which aided in teaching process in conditions of home quarantine. Study instruments include 1-skills achievements test, 2-Students’ designs rating scale, 3-scale of students’ attitude toward distance learning. The author followed the one group experimental approach methodology. The content of Fashion Design (2) course was analyzed to determine the five creativity dimensions/abilities included in practical and theoretical frameworks (fluency- flexibility- originality- elaboration- sensitivity). The instruments of current study were applied using a pre-post design on the study sample and appropriate statistical procedures were used. The results of the study indicated the effectiveness of using distance e-learning in developing creativity dimensions and attitude toward distance learning in Fashion Design “2” course for Nizwa University students of the experimental group at favor of post-test. The problem is that the lack of professional maturity makes the student hesitant, to chooses the specialization randomly or according to the parents or teachers' opinion, regardless of his inclinations, capabilities, future planning and what the labor market requires. Which leads to a change of specialization, delay in graduation or quit the university. Therefore, the study aimed to diagnose the level of professional maturity of first-year students, and the effect of the gender (male / female) variables, and Faculty (human / scientific). To achieve the objectives the descriptive and analytical method was used. The data collection was based on the (Crates) scale for the maturity of the professional tendency, that was applied on a sample of (328) male and female students. The findings revealed that: The level of maturity of the professional direction was average on the scale as a whole, the field of independence ranked first, the assurance came second, while interest in professional decision-making came last. The problem has arisen in the lack of electronic calendar tools applications, due to the lack of capabilities of the parameters in the application of electronic calendar tools, due to the weakness of the infrastructure, which is related to the telecommunications and networks sector. The objectives of the study: To diagnose the electronic evaluation tools that are applied, the electronic programs used in those applications, with an indication of the advantages of the application and the applications' challenges. The study adopted the qualitative approach, the size of the study population reached (15) schools, and a sample of (15) social studies teachers who attended practical training for continuous electronic evaluation programs were selected, where individual interviews were conducted with them. Data was analyzed using the content analysis method. After analyzing the results of the interviews, the following results were reached: From the tools applied by social studies teachers, to evaluate students ’learning, electronic assignments, short questions, electronic tests, from the programs used in the application of tools Google drive, Zid jard, Padelt, as well as the advantages of applying tools. Electronic calendar, as the teachers affirmed the students ’desire to interact with applications of electronic assessment tools and the interactive solution, follow-up of student achievement, statistical analysis of student results, and reveal weaknesses and goals that students did not achieve. As for the challenges that teachers faced, they were the lack of computers, the weakness of the network while performing tests and interactive activities, the students ’lack of experience in dealing with these programs. The study recommended continuing to apply electronic calendar tools for their importance in e-learning. The research problem lies in the lack of awareness among students of post-basic education in the Governorate of South Sharqiya in the Sultanate of Oman of the importance of knowing their thinking patterns in the close relationship between him and his academic achievement, and thus choosing a major in a way that is consistent with his thinking style. And therefore his inability to complete the study normally or lose the opportunity to learn. Therefore, it constituted a very important problem that deserves study and research. Therefore, the study aimed at identifying the brainstorming patterns according to (Ned Herman) among post-basic education students in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman, and to answer the study question, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method to identify the brainstorming patterns according to (Ned Hermann) among post-basic education students. By selecting a random sample of (654) male and female students for the academic year 2020-2021 AD, the results showed that of the students constituting (11.16%) of the total of the actual sample, they have a secondary preference for patterns, as for the basic patterns, the degree of students' ownership of the patterns varied Between having only one pattern, and some having all four patterns(A-B-C-D), and the results indicate that the prevailing pattern among students is their possession of all four types (A-B-C-D), and what constitutes (39.3%), and the lowest pattern is the pattern that combines (B-D) with a rate of (0.76%). The purposive sample of this study consisted of (89) male and female students from Wadi Bani Kharous Basic Education School and Om Hakeem Basic Education School at Sultanate of Oman. The sample was divided into an experimental group, which consisted of (48) students, and the control group consisted of (41) students. The instructional materials of Polynomial and Algebraic Functions Unit and Trigonometric Functions Unit for Grade 10th were designed based on the problem-solving program. The problem-solving test and mathematical self-concept scale were developed, and both were valid and reliable. The findings showed that: there were significant statistical differences in the mathematical problem-solving test in favor of the experimental group.
