Lorenz","doi":"10.5209/REV_CGIB.1977.V4.2874","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5209/REV_CGIB.1977.V4.2874","url":null,"abstract":"During the Carboniferousdic elongatedSouth EuropePlate was bounded by two fold beltswhich migratedaway from a centralcontinentalridge, pointing to two subductionzonesalong the NW and SE ma¿rginsof South Europe retreatingocean-wards.Due to releaseof abondantwater during subduetion, dehydrationand probablepartial melting of former oceaniccrust at the two subductionzones,one or severalupper mantle diapirs formed. Ríse of this hot upper mantle material causedwidespreadpartial melting in the lower crust of SouthEuropeandhigh temperature-lowpressuremetamorphism,and is believed to have reducedthe thickness and rigidity of the South Europe Plate considerably. Subductionof the Mid-Europeanoceancrust northwestof South Europe finally lcd to collision with North America-Europeand subduction of the Tethys oceancrust lcd to collision of South Europewith Africa in the southwest. Both collisions terminatedthe orogenicactivity at the sites of the fold bites. Approaching North Amcrica-EuropeandAfrica, South Europecollided with the irregulary rifted continental margins of the two adjacent plates. Enabledto do so by its reducedrigidity the South Europe Plate consequently deformed in orderto fit the irregularitiesof the adjacentcontinentalmargins. The originally presumablecollinearstructuresof South Europewere distorted and through rotations and translationsa number of subplatesformed separated from cach other by major wrench faults. The late Hercyniangeodynamic history of the various subplatesdevelopedalong similar paths. The hot uppcr mantle diapir causedregional uplift of the crust of South Europe,retreal of the seaand extensiveerosion.In additionlateral spreading of the diapir lcd lo regional crustal extensionand formation of intermontane graben-likebasins.Crustal spreadingwas initiated in the central continental ridge in uppermostVisean time xvhile simultaneouslyin the northwest and southeastcompressivestressregimeswere maintainedbecauseof the continued activity of the subductionzones. Both units provide Upper Carnian palynological associations. Besides, the lower unit contains associations of bivalves similar to those of the alpine «Raibler Schichten». These lithostratigraphic units were deposited in very shallow marine (subtidal) and coastal plain environments (peritidal in a broad sense), that constituted the internal areas of a marine shelf that evolved from mainly carbonatic to siliciclastic along the Uper Triassic. The Triassic of the Boyar Corridor is thinner than the typical Median Subbetic Upper Triassic, but it contains much less clays and evaporites and more carbonate marine intercalations than the former. Los datos del subsuelo proporcionados por los sondeos de hidrocarburos perforados en las panes no aflorantes de la cuenca muestran la presencia de una unidad evaporitica situada entre la Fm. Imon y la Fm. Cuevas Labradas. Estas evaporitas se encuentran normalmente disueltas en superficie, en donde esta representada unicamente por materiales carbonatados no disueltos que constituyen la Fm. Camiolas de Cortes de Tajuna. Sin embargo, esta sucesion evaporitica aflora en la region de Lecera, lo cual ha permitido estudiar en superficie los materiales evaporiticos de la Fm. Yesos, anhidritas y carbonatos de Lecera (Gomez y Goy, 1998). Los datos palinologicos confirman una edad Camiense para la facies Keuper y una edad Hettangiense para las Carniolas, situadas en este afloramiento por encima de la Fm. Lecera, mientras que los datos regionales indican una edad Retiense para los carbonatos de la Fm. Imon. Todos estos datos sugieren que el limite entre el Triasico y el Jurasico se encuentra dentro de la Fm. Los depositos salinos se caracterizan por la presencia de facies evaporiticas \u0000intersticiales formadas en llanuras arcillosas salinas y en ambientes \u0000lacustres marginales. El depocentro de los lagos salinos se encontraba en el \u0000norte de los afloramientos analizados. Los sistemas fluviales meandriformes \u0000se encajaron en los sedimentos de la llanura arcillosa salina, desarrollando \u0000depositos de barras' arenosas de meandro, rellenos de canales abandonados \u0000(clay plugs), depositos de inundacion y de desbordamiento. La reconstruccion \u0000tridimensional de la arquitectura de los lobulos de meandro ha permitido la \u0000cuantificacion de la conexion de los cuerpos arenosos, asi como la estimacion \u0000de las variables paleohidromorfologicas de los canales. \u0000En las areniscas los procesos diageneticos tempranos fueron muy intensos, \u0000especialmente los relacionados con la cementacion, consistente en envueltas \u0000y mosaicos dolomiticos y en cristales poiquilotopicos de yeso. El origen \u0000de estos cementos se relaciona «pn cambios en el nivel de base y en el contraste \u0000entre la composicion quimica salina de las aguas freaticas y las aguas \u0000mas diluidas de los canales fluviales. Los cementos dolomiticos se formaron \u0000mientras los canales eran activos, probablemente por un proceso de mezcla de aguas. Se ha hecho el estudio de aquellos afloramientos, que consideramos mas representativos, mediante el levantamiento de columnas estratigraficas en las que se han establecido zonas y subzonas paleontologicas, de acuerdo con las condiciones de los yacimientos. Se ha podido comprobar la metacronia de la facies «Ammonitico rosso», del Surco sedimentario Subbetico, incluso entre series poco distanciadas actualmente. Ciertas series presentan fuerte condensacion en algunos niveles lo que dificulta el reconocimiento de subzonas e incluso de zonas. Se han diferenciado dos tipos de facies «Ammonitico rosso»: una predominantemente margosa y la otra margosa tambien, pero con intercalaciones calizas. Las caracteristicas litologicas y paleontologicas de ambas facies han permitido el establecimiento de una fina bioestratigrafia y correlaciones dentro de la cuenca. EnglishLiassic «Ammonitico rosso» is represented in the Central Sector of Subbetic Zone (transversal of Loja-Iznalloz, prov. de Granada) by many outcrops, most of them rich on Ammonites. The study of considered most representative of these outcrops has been made, by means of stratigraphic sections in which palacontological zones and subzones are established accordingly with the outcrop’s conditions. Metacronie of «Ammonitico rosso» facies from subbetic sedimentary furrow has been proved, herein to actually little distant series. Some series present a strong condensation in a few levels difficulting the recognition of subzones and zones. Two tipes of «Ammonitico rosso» facies have been differenciated the first one mostly marly and the second one, also marly, but with limestone intercalations. Both lithological and palaeotological characteristics allowed the establishement of a fine stratigraphy and correlations into the basin. francaisL’«Ammonitico Rosso» d’âge liasique est represente dans le secteur central de la zone subbetique (transversale Loja-Iznalloz, prov. de Granada) par de nombreux affleurements, la plupart riches en Ammonites.´ Les affleurements qui ont paru les plus representatifs ont ete etudies. Des series stratigraphiques ont ete etablies avec des zones et sous-zones paleontologiques. Nous avons pu constater un âge plus recent des facies «Ammonitico Rosso» dans le sillon sedimentaire subbetique, meme entre des series peu eloignees actuelment. Certaines series presentent deux types de facies «Ammonitico Rosso» l'une essentiellement marneuse, l'autre egalement marneuse avec des intercalations calcaires.
