Las etapas de fracturacion, a lo largo del Jurasico, junto con los descensos eustaticos y los cambios en la velocidad de sedimentacion, dieron lugar a discontinuidades estratigraficas mayores, que han quedado desigualmente registradas en las series. Se reconocen cuatro discontinuidades mayores, cuya posicion en el espacio y tiempo se analiza. Las cuatro discontinuidades de orden mayor que se reconocen en el conjunto de la cuenca son: intracarixiense (controlada por la tectonica regional y mas secundariamente por el eustatismo), la del limite Lias-Dogger (esencialmente eustatica), la del limite Dogger-Malm (eustatica y tectonica) y la finijurasica (tectonica y eustatica). After rejection of data belonging to displaced of deformed areas, or representing remagnetizations, 11 poles are selected. Using this data base, an Apparent Polar Wander Path (APW) is constructed. Two methods are used. The first one is a refined sliding window method. Ihe second one is the small circie fitting recently developped in APW modelling. This method is appropiate for the lower Perrnian-lower Jurassic track only. Finaily, the consistency of the APW with known kinematic models for Iberia is tested. There are, roughly speaking, two kinds of models describing the evolution of Iberia relative to Europe: single rotation models and left-lateral shift models. As a result, both models lead to statistically equivalent fits between the European and iberian APW’s, for the lower Permian-lower Jurassic track. Thus, it is clearly shown that the current lack of palcomagnetic data prevents us from giving close constraints to the kinernatic evolution of Iberia.","PeriodicalId":110220,"journal":{"name":"Journal of iberian geology: an international publication of earth sciences","volume":"132 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114424703","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
