The usual indicators in such conditions suffer from time of day dependency. The analysis of time dependency is provided for commuting between Czech municipalities for several working time intervals. To conduct such a research, large database with public transport connections must be built using software solution and parallel processing of valid time tables. The sensitivity of results to time selection was partly approved. The FSO systems use infrared beams to transmit data via atmosphere. Transmission channel is unstable and unpredictable, so monitoring of environment is needed. Atmosphere phenomena decrease optical signal in different ways such as absorption, scattering and scintillation. The main negative influence on laser beam is caused by small particles of water; dust and smog in the air which size corresponds with using wavelengths in FSO systems. Thus, it is important to know behavior of atmosphere in area where the FSO system is working. In this article are shown two methods how to measure and evaluate information about weather conditions in local area and compute FSO availability from this data. In this paper, the author considers the concept of mean anisotropy of the sequence with nonzero mean and anisotropic norm of the system with given input. The problems of anisotropy-based analysis in frequency domain and state-space representation are considered. The difference between classical formulas for computing mean anisotropy and anisotropic norm and new formulas is shown. Then we discuss those general problems of modeling languages BPMN and ARIS which are important at the above mentioned business-technology border. As a basis for deriving the critical requirements for a language as well as for comparing both languages we use the “MMABP Business Process Meta-Model\". This semi-formal specification expresses the basic requirements for the modeling languages from both technical as well as business perspectives and abstracts their non essential features. It allows us to focus on just those features of the given language which are essential from both perspectives. Heating of the material leads to its expansion, which may for example damage the anchorage of parts, or cause collapse of the weld. To compensate the deformation it must be applied pretension, which size cannot exceed safe limits. The new system replaces a set of analog gauges, which the operator had to keep checking visually. This system allows for synchronized reading of four linear encoders, visualization of values, detection of exceeding the specified limits and communication with the PC via LAN or RS485. Thanks to immense development of measuring techniques at present, the measurement procedures have become easier both quantitatively and qualitatively, i.e. the trueness and accuracy of measurements and their speed have increased; hence the amount of experimental data has multiplied. Along with experimental techniques, the techniques of evaluation have also improved: available computer programs cover absolute majority of mathematical evaluation methods. In the profusion of outputs, the application conditions of the methods used are somewhat eluding, and the results obtained often have limited applicability. The mainly part is orientated to the Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) with connection to vehicular communications (VC). Simultaneously the safety parameters of the effective digital signature schemes for VC communications are mentioned which are used for an authorised message transmission. In the paper the possible solutions of detection of horizontal road marking on the base of segmentation method are described and the solution of connection of assistance service to Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communications with using Elliptic Curve Integrated Encryption Scheme (ECIES). Practical part realized via SW Matlab detects the departure of the vehicle from its driving lane, triggers the resulting alarm which is on the security manner transferred as alarm message with digital signature between vehicles via V2V communications. They are lightweight, robust and have very high generated force to weight ratio. Because of these features they are widely used in robotics, orthotics and prosthetics. However, generated force has nonlinear character and is dependent on both pressure inside of a muscle and its contraction. It behaves somewhat like a spring. As a result, the generated force of pneumatic artificial muscle is hard to control. This study presents an algorithm for vision measurement of an operating pneumatic artificial muscle. The diameter and contraction of an artificial muscle is measured under different operating pressures. The purpose of this study is the analysis of a vision system as an alternative tool for measuring characteristics of pneumatic artificial muscles in real applications. One of the advantages of a vision system is a fact, that single camera sensor is able to measure more than one artificial muscle. Control algorithms of pneumatic muscles use PWM method to control pressure. To achieve PWM method very fast 2/2 pneumatic valves are used to control input and output flow. In this study a pneumatic muscle is used to control slider position. A vision analysis of a such system is presented.
