The updated heat capacities are obtained within the canonical ensemble method making use of the most recent and recommended experimental nuclear level density (NLD) data together with those calculated within the back-shifted Fermi gas (BSFG) model with energy-dependent parameters. By comparing the updated heat capacities with the un-updated ones, which are obtained by using the old experimental NLD data and the BSFG with energy-independent parameters, we found that the updated and un-updated heat capacities are almost identical at low temperature, but differ from each others at high temperature. This discrepancy can be interpreted by the damping of nuclear shell structure with increasing the excitation energy. Besides, we observe that the S-shape in the updated heat capacities is much more pronounced in even-even Dy isotopes than in even-odd ones, whereas the un-updated heat capacities do not clearly exhibit this S-shape. Therefore, the updated heat capacities should provide a more convincing evidence for the signature of pairing phase transition in nuclear systems.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76056266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We show that the new Higgs bosons, $mathcal{H}_1^pm$, and the new gauge bosons $W_{13,14 }^{pm p,q}, Z_{2,3}$ contribute to this decay. Of these sources, the main contribution comes from the interaction of the singly-charged Higgs boson. If the spontaneous breaking of the enlarged gauge group symmetry down to the electroweak group is around a few TeVs, the predictions for the branching ratio Br($bto s gamma$) and meson mixing are both consistent with experimental constraints.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75894106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition to the phase matched HHG spectrum generated by an 800-nm laser (driving field), non-integer order wave-mixing spectra are produced when the driving field and the control field (1400 nm or 1860 nm) are collinearly focused into krypton gas. In addition, the simultaneous presence of three laser fields generates resolvable four-wave mixing (FWM) frequencies that clearly indicate the contribution of each control field. Rev. B 105, L121405 (2022)]. In this paper, we revisit the Luttinger-liquid-based model and discuss in details the limit where the spin field is noninteracting ((g_sigma = 1)) and the interaction in the charge sector is repulsive ((0< g_rho leq 1)). The thermoelectric transport coefficients are computed nonperturbatively with respect to the reflection amplitude at the quantum point contact. At low temperatures the thermopower shows the non-Fermi liquid behavior in the vicinity of the Coulomb peaks. We also demonstrate that repulsive interaction results in the enhancement of the thermoelectrical power.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83545059","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The absorption bandwidth is extended based on large frequency dispersive permittivity and high relative dielectric loss of water. The simulated result indicates that the absorption of the proposed structure achieves over 90% in the frequency range from 0.6 to 10 THz at a normal incident angle. Moreover, the performance maintains high over 80% with a wide incident angle up to 60o for transverse electronic (TE) mode and over 90% up to 700 transverse magnetic (TM) mode in the entire operating frequency range. Numerous experimental and theoretical studies on doping Au102+ and Au20 with transition metal atoms have been carried out for specific properties that can be used as advanced materials in nanotechnology applications. In this work, we discussed the similarities and differences between the structural, stability, and electronic properties of Au9M2+ and Au19M (M = Sc-Ni) clusters using density functional theory calculations. It is found that except for the preferred dopant site, the structural evolution of Au9M2+ cluster resembles that of Au19M in general. Although the V dopant seems to be the important ingredient for the structural transformation in both species, it is remarkable that the transformation appears stronger in Au19V compared with Au9V2+. The calculated average binding energies are utilized to identify their relative stable patterns. Depending on the 3d transition metal atom dopant, the spin magnetic moments of Au9M2+ and Au19M clusters vary from 0 to 5 μB, reaching the highest value with the Cr-doped species. We show that both Au9Cr2+ and Au19Cr have similarities in the electronic structures and are potential magnetic superatoms.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82982212","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compared to the previous studies, two new kinematic cuts are considered. These cuts are designed to enhance the doubly-longitudinal (LL) polarization and, at the same time, study the Radiation Amplitude Zero effect. We found a new cut on the rapidity separation between the $Z$ boson and the electron from the $W$ decay which makes the LL fraction largest, namely $|Delta y_{Z,e}| < 0.5$.
