The hydrothermal conditions, such as temperature and time, were varied to optimize the morphological characteristics of the NRs. After undergoing filtration, washing, and drying, the resulting material was characterized using several techniques, including field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Our findings reveal that the NRs exhibit diverse morphologies, depending on the hydrothermal conditions, with the smallest aspect ratio observed when prepared at 200 °C for 24 hours. In addition, we investigated the gas sensing capabilities of the NRs to ammonia under these conditions.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85208136","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The six-bands $textbf{k.p}$ Hamiltonian is employed to describe the holes in the GaAs and GaMnAs layers, taking into account both spin-orbit and exchange interactions. The multi-band transfer-matrix formalism is applied for numerically solving the Schrodinger equation to derive the hole wave transmission. We then calculate the transmission asymmetry and discuss its dependence on the right electrode magnetization magnitude, as well as the angles determining relatively the orientation of two magnetization vectors. The study may provide the insights into dynamic of Anomalous Tunneling Hall current during magnetization switching process which are important in spintronics technology for device design and measurement.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"100 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76873324","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, there is greater focus on the investigation to control the size and shape of nanomaterials, including the nanospherical form, which allows for precise labeling by only one nanoparticle. This paper demonstrates, for the first time, the construction of a biological nanospherical probe (BNSP) Gd2O3: Yb3+, Er3+/Silica/NH/mAb^CD133 for diagnostic labeling of cancer stem cells (CSCs) NTERA-2. The BNSP was constructed using highly monodisperse spheres with around 200nm uniform size of Gd2O3: 7.6% Yb3+, 1.6% Er3+. They were functionalized by an amine group-contained shell coating and conjugated with CD133 monoclonal antibody. The functionalized nanosphere Gd2O3: Yb, Er/silica/NH2 showed strong upconversion luminescence in red color upon laser excitation in the near-infrared region at 975 nm. The Gd2O3: Yb3+, Er3+/silica/NH2 was carefully implemented to conjugate mAb^CD133 via a linker, glutaraldehyde, to obtain the predictable probe Gd2O3: Yb3+, Er3+/Silica/NH/mAb^CD133. Then, this BNSP was tested in vitro for its capacity to label NTERA-2 cancer stem cells. The efficient labeling based on the fluorescent immunoassay method was detected by incorporating a nanophotometer, Field Energy Scan Electron Microscopy (FESEM), and precisely determined by fluorescent microscopy. The study shows that the BNSP is highly efficient with targeting capacity and specificity in the labeling of cancer stem cells. These advanced results open up promising avenues for the development of precise imaging diagnostics in cancer cellular biomedicine, and beyond.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"17 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87691931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Murr is a medicinal herb with many valuable biological activities such as clearing heat, detoxifying, dissipating phlegm, antiseptic, pain relief, antifungal, anti-inflammatory... In this work, we used Spilanthes acmella L. Murr extract to synthesize silver nanoparticles to combine and enhance the activity of silver and Spilanthes acmella L. Murr extract in antibacterial and antifungal activities. The reaction parameters were investigated to find the most optimal conditions for synthesizing silver nanoparticles, such as AgNO3 volume, solution pH, and reaction temperature. UV-VIS absorption spectra were used to analyze the influence of the reaction parameters. The functional groups on the silver nanoparticles as well as the Spilanthes acmella L. Murr extract were found by infrared absorption (FTIR) spectroscopy. The crystal structure of the synthesized silver nanoparticles was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy. On the basis of the synthesized silver nanoparticles, the antifungal activity was investigated on the strains: A. flavus (Af), A. brasiliensis (Ab), C. In numerical results, we show off-shell decay rate and its corrections with varying off-shell Higgs mass. The results show that the corrections are of 10% contributions to the total decay rates. Furthermore, we study the impacts of one-loop radiative corrections to the off-shell decay (H^* rightarrow W^+W^-) in Higgs processes at future colliders. The signal processes such as (e^-e^+rightarrow ZH^*rightarrow Z(WW)) with including the initial beam polarizations and (e^-e^+rightarrow nu_ebar{nu}_e H^* rightarrow nu_ebar{nu}_e (WW)) and (e^-gamma rightarrow e^-H^* rightarrow e^-WW) are examined. The auxiliary fermionic representation of the spin operators within a functional integral formalism with an imaginary Lagrange multiplier is employed to retain an exact constraint of single particle occupancy. Representing the classical ground state by Luttinger-Tisza ordering vector Q one may consider the fluctuation contributions to the free energy of the system in the entire range of the coupling parameters. By correspondingly adjusting the ferromagnetic-interaction and antiferromagnetic-interaction probabilities, $p$ and $(1-p)$, in the regime $p ge 0.5$, the temperature dependence of magnetization, total energy, spin susceptibility, and specific heat consistently show a ferromagnetic to paramagnetic (FM-PM) phase transition at a critical temperature $T_c$. Besides, the inverse susceptibility is confirmed to follow Curie-Weiss's law above another critical temperature $T_{CW}$. By increasing the FM interaction probability, we have observed the FM-PM critical temperature $T_c$ shifted to the higher value while the Curie-Weiss critical temperature $T_{CW}$ moves to the lower. The different values between these two critical temperatures imply the inhomogeneity of the systems having phase separation, thus in agreement with the increased homogeneity with increasing $p$.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79058089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We evaluated the contribution from each exchange in standard model physics and unparticle physics to the final production cross-sections with the apposite energy reach in the current accelerators and colliders. The results indicate that the effect of vector unparticles is larger than its scalar all over the range of collision energy, as much greater than Higgs ((h)) and radion ((phi)) in the low energy. (Z) boson exchange also contributes the greatest to the process in both unpolarized and polarized conditions in higher energy regions when compared to photon exchange ((gamma)) which normally dominates at the lower energies.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"13 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88884805","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, we investigate the potential of using reactor neutrino detectors for nuclear safeguards in Vietnam, specifically at the Dalat Nuclear Reactor, a future research facility, and presumably commercial reactors with 500~kW, 10~MW, and 1000~MW thermal powers, respectively. We compute the rate of observed inverted beta decay events, as well as the statistical significance of extracting isotope composition under the practical assumptions of detector mass, detection efficiency, and background level. We find that a 1-ton detector mass can allow us to detect the reactor's on-off transition state from a few hours to a few days, depending on the standoff distance and reactor thermal power. We investigate how background and energy resolution affect the precision of the extracted weapon-usable (^{239})Pu isotope. We conclude that in order to distinguish the 10% variation of the (^{239})Pu in the 10~MW thermal power reactor, a 1-ton detector placed 50~m away must achieve 1% background level. Increasing the statistics by using a 10x larger detector or placing it (sqrt{10}) times closer to the reactor alleviates the requirement of the background level to 10%.","PeriodicalId":10571,"journal":{"name":"Communications in Physics","volume":"247 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74500336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
