More specifically, we are concerned with the design of a field winding made of HTS wire, for a homogeneous magnetic field in the working place, and with the evaluation of the electrodynamic interactions (Laplace forces) to which the winding is subjected. Another objective is the thermal stability of the HTS winding, which is provided by a Gifford-McMahon cryocooler for cooling down the winding and a confining cryostat system. Its thermal design and performance assessment are of concern too. The interest for person transporting two-wheel vehicles driven by brushless direct current motors has increased lately; consequently, new researches regarding design and optimal construction of these motors are very present. There has been carried out an optimal design for a low power brushless direct current motor; as a result, there have been obtained an important decrease of the fabrication cost with 31.5%, a lower decrease of the total cost with 17.7%, and an insignificant increase of the exploitation cost with 3.68%. In this prime report, more than twenty patients were examined; time-domain and frequency-domain parameters were studied during deep breathing (DB), Valsalva maneuver (VA) and hand grip (HG). After this we compared the HRV obtained in the specific test for each specific patient; we studied also records of different patients with the same injury, in order to estimate the magnitude of the difference. The system was implemented by using the Z430-Chronos wireless development kit and BM-CS5 wireless chest strap. These devices were used to acquire and wirelessly transfer to a PC the measured caloric expenditure for the monitored subject. The calories expenditure are computed based on heart rate, provided by the chest strap, and accelerometer data acquired with CMA3000-D01 tri-axial accelerometer sensor from eZ430-Chronos watch. A graphic user interface was designed and implemented by using the LabWindows/CVI environment in order to display the temporal waveform of the daily caloric balance for the selected subject. The implemented system was tested on a group of seven obese subjects during a 90 days study. They were required to do daily physical exercises, being monitored by the described system, followed by the estimation of calories expenditure used in determining their daily caloric balance computed as difference between calories intake and the sum of calories expenditure and basal metabolic rate. The evolution of the subjects was quantified by using the biochemical parameters determined at the beginning and at the end of the days study. This model relies on the premises of equating the mass of magnetic materials used in the ship hull construction with the mass of material of the ellipsoidal shell. The magnetic field is computed in a horizontal plane situated below the analyzed body, starting from the solution to Laplace's equation formulated in the ellipsoidal coordinate system, and by applying the variable separation method. The field computation is performed in the situations: the external field is parallel to the ellipsoid's main axis and perpendicular to it, respectively. A hardware and software system is used for acquiring environmental data. These data are then sent to a fuzzy logic software which decides the number of equipments that will be powered directly from the photovoltaic panels, with the rest beeing pluged into the national power grid. Usually, these voltage disturbances are caused by faults that can occur on the lines connected to the same bus bar as the main feeder or even on main feeder of connection substation. A DVR that uses a diode based rectifier as a DC voltage source, supplied by the back-up feeder of connection substation, has been modeled in Matlab/Simulink. Severe faults on the lines adjacent to main feeder and back-up feeder and also faults on main feeder, with real impact for the magnitude of voltage supplied to end-users connected to the electrical network downstream of the connection substation bus bars, have been simulated. The DVR response has been studied for these fault conditions. The proposed system has a master-slave architecture and consists of an LPT-to-I2C adapter for the parallel port, which operates as single master, up to 8 slave modules (measurements nodes) based on the TMP75 digital sensor IC and LabVIEW application software. The equipment is analysed in terms of physical and geometrical similarity criteria. The algorithm for computing the electrical circuits from the global compensation windings was correlated with the ship's geometrical shape. In was taken into consideration the fact that the winding arrangement is symmetrical to the ship diametrical plan, as well as the ship magnetic field.
