Foods and drinks which are rested for too long in the environment will make it possible to get contaminated by pathogen microbes and then results in disease. One of the microbes that is considerably contaminating street foods is Salmonella. We aim to identify Salmonella on drink which are offered in the canteens of Public Elementary School.Methods: This research is design as a descriptive observational, including incubation in Selenite broth, streak in MacConkey agar, and species identification using biochemical tests.Results: There were no Salmonella sp. in drinks sample of street foods which are offered both inside and outside the canteens of Public Elementary School 1 Surabaya, but other gram-negative bacteria contaminated foods.Conclusion: The street foods in elementary school, both the main ingredients and tools used during food processing and serving, still have contamination from pathogen, especially gram-negative bacteria. The vendors and sellers need to be taught how to process and serve foods in better hygiene.","PeriodicalId":9324,"journal":{"name":"Biomolecular and Health Science Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80877031","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Balance is an ability to maintain both static and dynamic equilibrium on various positions. An overweight person will experience a decrease in abdominal muscle strength and center of gravity shift. Physical training has positive effects to increase body balance. Stretching exercise maintains and increases the elasticity of muscle, tendon, fascia, ligament and joint motion and improve balance. Resistance exercise increases muscle performance which has benefit effect on balance system dynamically. The proprioceptive, an important part of balance maintenance to feel joint position or body when moving, can be improved by training that performed using balance board. Mechanoreceptor that is stimulated and the adaptation of the body's balance control that is influenced by balance board training results a good proprioceptive.","PeriodicalId":9324,"journal":{"name":"Biomolecular and Health Science Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90595289","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
