We wanted to answer the following question: what are the didactic and pedagogical problems that philosophy teachers encounter in the transmission of knowledge related to existence and its problems? This question is linked to the didactics and pedagogy of philosophy in high school. Propose didactics and pedagogy of philosophy, more adapted to the theme entitled “the philosophical teaching of existence and its problems”. We arrive at the following results: the difficulties of philosophical teaching on existence and its problems in literary final year classes are linked to the misuse of didactics and pedagogy by teachers; the theme of existence and its problems is not well taught in high school because of the limitations experienced by teachers regarding the methodical explanation of the subjects; the teaching of this theme is too theoretical and far from the real existence and daily experience of learners. We suggest an interactive didactic approach; a participatory pedagogy; an integration of the real problems of the learners' existence, in the content of the lessons.","PeriodicalId":92980,"journal":{"name":"Advances in social sciences research journal","volume":"95 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140736369","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The recent Covid-19 pandemic revealed an ecosystem of stories and narratives promoting alternative explanations about a real public threat. The exposure to these narratives and their persuasion towards people’s cognitive structures is a crucial issue to be examined to identify the different strategies implemented, by individuals and groups, in order to address a direct threat to society. In the current exploratory research, we examined whether believing in conspiracy theories about Covid-19 pandemic, is possible to predict semantic networks as cognitive structures. The analysis of the research findings provided different patterns of thought about individual exposure to Covid-19 conspiracy theories, their persuasiveness, and the different levels of compliance to (state-promoted) health measures. \u0000We discuss the importance of future research focusing on the level of acceptance of the role of different social institutions. A systematic analysis of conspiracy theories rationale is possible to address the cognitive bias organized on belief systems that offer a logical problem solving in social uncertainties. A more thorough study on the individual and group perception of the role of institutions, the level of their acceptance or dispute, as well as their direct and indirect impact on the development of socially responsible behaviors, within a shared social reality, could enhance our knowledge towards the development of effective social policies to confront the next public health crisis.","PeriodicalId":92980,"journal":{"name":"Advances in social sciences research journal","volume":"75 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140736406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study examines three components of Theory Planned Behaviour (TPB): attitude (ATT), subjective norm (SN), and perceived behavioural control (PBC), and how they relate to sharing OVAs. The study investigates how company reputation impacts the correlation between these variables. A total of 208 millennials in Selangor were given questionnaire to gather the data. Partial least squares-structural equation modelling technique was used to examine the data. The findings show that ATT and SN have an impact on millennials’ intention to share OVA. The mediation result indicates that company reputation partially mediates the relationship between PBC and the intention to share OVAs. The results of this study add to the body of knowledge while giving practitioners, particularly marketers, practical knowledge about efficient marketing strategies.","PeriodicalId":92980,"journal":{"name":"Advances in social sciences research journal","volume":"108 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140740890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective is to equip students with the essential knowledge, skills, and mindset required to establish prosperous and enduring enterprises. However, even with the implementation of many programmes, the rate of entrepreneurship among graduates remains low. Given the rising unemployment rate in the country, exacerbated by the challenging economic circumstances resulting from the pandemic, it is imperative to encourage entrepreneurial endeavours. The objective of this study is to assess students' comprehension and receptiveness towards subjects related to entrepreneurship, considering the present circumstances. A cohort of 252 undergraduate students participated in the study by completing self-administered questionnaires. The findings demonstrated a notable and favourable correlation between persons' self-evaluated proficiency and their inclination towards being interested in things linked to entrepreneurship. The purpose of this analysis is to offer valuable insights to universities to construct entrepreneurship programmes. The ultimate objective is to improve entrepreneurial education and establish a conducive atmosphere for students to discover and pursue entrepreneurial ideas.","PeriodicalId":92980,"journal":{"name":"Advances in social sciences research journal","volume":"57 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140736487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To analyze the relationship between variables and accomplish the study's objective, 295 university student samples were used. The study's findings indicate that internal marketing plays a significant role in performance, meaning that an increase in internal marketing will improve an organization's performance. Innovative cultures have a big impact on how well an organization does; in Pakistan, any organization that has a strong creative culture will perform even better. Market orientation is also crucial for any organization. The study found that innovation is believed to have a mediating role in the relationship between market orientation and marketing performance.","PeriodicalId":92980,"journal":{"name":"Advances in social sciences research journal","volume":"20 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140365810","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, much of the work on affectivity in the context of violent extremism has so far remained a fragmented background issue. The purpose of this paper is to bring affect to the foreground through philosophical accounts of situated affectivity, while remaining compatible with contributions on emotions and affect from different disciplines in the context of extremism. The situated account explains how environmental structures affect individual affectivity and vice versa. With the help of this framework, we are able to analyze an individual’s affective dynamics simultaneously with multiple elements. By using different analytical vantage points, we can examine how the affectivity of individuals is shaped and regulated by other individuals, materials, spaces, discourses, and behaviors in extremist settings. The approach provides a broader and richer perspective on the complexities and dynamics of affect in extremism. Affect-centric counter- and preventive policies relating to violent extremism can benefit from this approach.","PeriodicalId":92980,"journal":{"name":"Advances in social sciences research journal","volume":"34 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140368304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two of the three readings are explored in pre-existing analytical works of literature, and the third is my own reading to determine the resolve of the moral dilemma in the story. Throughout the paper, I will argue that autonomy is justified to be overridden at times, however it is still unjust. Structurally, the paper is organized in a way starting with definitions to establish a foundation that will aid in understanding the interpretations. Such definitions include concepts within the Hippocratic Oath and other terms related to society that still reign true with the concepts explored in The Use of Force. The understanding of such issues is vital to establishing a perspective towards the story, and brings out more space for discussions. Then, I will discuss and analyze the short story including analysis of the doctor’s behaviour, in-depth quote analysis, thought experiments, and finally interpretations relating to the real world.","PeriodicalId":92980,"journal":{"name":"Advances in social sciences research journal","volume":"61 23","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140367923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Forty soccer players voluntarily took part in this study, they were divided randomly into two equal groups: Experimental group (N=20) underwent a 12 weeks of CrossFit training program, and the control group (N=20) underwent 12 weeks of traditional training. Body composition and hematological parameters were measured before and after the experiment among both groups. As results, a significant time x group interaction effect was observed for body mass index (p=0.99; ES=0.45), body fat percentage (p=0.19; ES=0.36), and muscle mass (p=0.16; ES=0.57), which indicate a positively significant change of body mass index and body fat percentage, muscle mass (p<0.05). While a significant group x time effect was reported for body fat mass (p=0.04, ES=0.43) and basal metabolic rate (p=0.005, ES=0.55), with favor for experimental group compared to control group. Additionally results showed a statistically significant group x time effect for Hemoglobin (p=0.001; ES=0.24) Red blood cells (p=0.04, ES=0.56) and Hematocrit (p=0.007; ES=0.36) with favor for EG in comparison with CG group, an increasing was presents for all previous parameters respectively among experimental group (p<0.001). However, no statistically significant effect of group x time was indicated for platelets (p=0.16; ES=0.58), significant increasing was reported for both groups. CrossFit exercise program can be recommended as an effective program in enhancing and adjusting the vital indicators of young soccer players and improve performance.","PeriodicalId":92980,"journal":{"name":"Advances in social sciences research journal","volume":"23 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140365336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Traditionally, in football, coaching factors emerge within the training environment and are closely aligned with the intended game model. However, isolating these factors from the broader game model risks decontextualizing them, potentially undermining crucial aspects such as solidarity, team spirit, motivation, discipline, and rigor. Moreover, there is a pressing need to ensure that physical, technical, and psychological aspects are subordinated to tactical thinking and a relentless pursuit of victory during training sessions. This imposes a mindset of seriousness and rigor to effectively navigate the demands of complexity inherent in collective play. Drawing insights from philosophical discussions by Merleau-Ponty and Edgar Morin, as well as contributions from Manuel Sérgio and other scholars, this research seeks to deepen our understanding of the intricate relationships between players within a team. By exploring these dynamics, the study aims to shed light on how interactions among players shape team dynamics and influence individual players’ perceptions within the broader coaching context. Ultimately, the paper endeavours to contribute to a nuanced comprehension of the spatial and philosophical dimensions inherent in football training processes, thus offering valuable insights for both researchers and practitioners in the field.","PeriodicalId":92980,"journal":{"name":"Advances in social sciences research journal","volume":"37 S164","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140224463","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve the research objectives, the descriptive method using the survey method was used. The sample consisted of ninety (90) individuals from the executive management in the colleges, thirty-eight (38) quality coordinators in the departments in the colleges, and fifty-two (52) department heads. In this research, a questionnaire form was applied that included four (4) axes and fifty-eight (58) statements, and statistical treatments were applied using the SPSS version 2020 software. The most important results of this study are that the college sets its goals based on its vision and mission in line with the needs of society through effective strategies announced in a public place to be a reference for evaluating progress in the college. It was also concluded that the college’s human resources (trainers and administrators) are sufficient to perform the tasks assigned to them through the work of committees and work teams and writing periodic reports on achievements, work performance, and development. The College Council also makes its decisions according to clear and specific tasks with the formation of distinguished work teams. One of the most important recommendations of the research is the college council’s approval of formulating the college’s vision and mission, the need to emphasize the presence of a quality and accreditation office in every college and unit for every department in the organizational structure of physical education colleges in Libyan public universities, and the necessity of developing a guideline for quality standards for accreditation in physical education colleges in Libyan public universities.
