Recovery is a perspective in addictive behavior intervention based on the empowerment, competencies, and life skills of a person with addictive behaviors. Recovery-oriented programs have advanced from traditional therapeutic communities to actual integral services, which are integrated in social and health networks and developed by multidisciplinary professional staff. This evolution has not been systematic until XXIst century, with the beginning of “Science of Recovery”. Objective: to analyse the development of recovery programs, especially the theoretical models and good practices actually in development into European programs and to present the HERMESS Recovery model. Methods: This study draws on qualitative research methodology (with a complementary part of statistics), using an action research approach. It was included in the project “HOME/2014/JDRU/AG/DRUG/7092-Triple R: Rehabilitation for Recovery and Reinsertion”. Into the project, they have been analysed theoretical models and good practices about recovery. Results: As main result of the Triple R project, it was developed an intervention model based on peer learning and socioemotional development called the “Triple R HERMESS” model on rehabilitation and recovery. Conclusions: the “Science of Recovery” is advancing to validated, replicable and measurable models and programs. Recovery-oriented programs must be integrated and connected with harm reduction networks, social services, health systems, and employment services; recovery is based on empowerment and peer social support, so it´s necessary to develop structured programs for these topics; it´s also necessary to create specific actions for several collectives, as develop evaluation systems to validate efficiency and adequacy of recovery- oriented programs. As a main conclusion, the HERMESS recovery model was developed to be a reference for new recovery-oriented programs. Keywords: Addictive behaviors, Recovery, Good practices, Transference, Treatment network.

However, a concerning trend has been observed regarding pilot flight time, which has decreased from approximately 300 hours per year to 230 hours per year. This decline could potentially impact flight safety and training, particularly in situations requiring rapid decision-making. One of the critical factors affecting rapid decision-making is a pilot's ability to closely monitor the aircraft's systems and flight path. The objective of this paper is to review and synthesize a series of studies that investigated the impact of peripheral gaze behavior on flying performance. Pilots can process peripheral eye gaze information more quickly and effectively, and peripheral eye movements could be used to activate controls faster than typical motor reflexes. Mathematical models of visual attention related to peripheral eye tracking have proven to be valuable predictive tools for human-machine interfaces and can lay the groundwork for improved training of pilots. Understanding gaze behavior offers valuable insights into the human-machine interface in modern cockpits. Keywords: Peripheral eye tracking, Pilot decision making, Human-machine teaming.

These beverages encompass a wide range of ingredients, including aliphatic alcohols, organic acids, esters, aldehydes, ketones, phenols, sugars, tannins, flavonoids, natural flavors, and water. The global alcohol market has immense potential, with over half of the population in certain regions already consuming alcoholic beverages. Despite the aging global population, there is a lack of comprehensive studies on alcohol use among the elderly, who face unique challenges related to aging. Several factors contribute to this research gap, including a historical focus on younger age groups, underreporting and underestimation of the issue, stigma, participation barriers, lack of recognition, and the complexity of factors involved. However, as the elderly population continues to grow, interest in this area is likely to increase. Additionally, the aging demographic represents a significant economic market, and the "elderly empowerment" movement may influence changing consumption patterns among older individuals, making continued research into alcohol consumption in this demographic essential. The effect was already shown to be characteristic of traumatic brain injury. The push effect of the positive charges onto other positive charges (reverse magnet effect) leads to many comorbidities altogether with the main disease caused by them, beyond TBI. The study of the “eye-brain axis” is a large provider of cases of such comorbidities. The review of eye diseases and their relation with TBI or related diseases, especially thyroid diseases, was done to determine whether they are related or not to this grid effect. The results show that more diseases than what was known until now are found to be dependent on contamination with alpha emitters.

The method chosen to conduct this study was the systematic review. According to the findings it is found, eating disorders do indeed affect adolescents aged 12–17 years, especially girls. Eating disorders negatively affect both physical and mental health. The comorbidity of depression and eating disorders is significant. In addition to symptoms of depression, adolescents appear to have evidence of anxiety disorder and suicidal behaviour. It is also not uncommon for eating disorders to appear in childhood and continue through adolescence and into adulthood.

The disease develops as a result of an interaction between genetic and environmental factors (Dobson et al., 2019). The most important genetic risk factor are the alleles of genes encoding human leucocyte antigens (HLAs), especially HLA-DRB1*1501 (Hollenbach et al., 2015). The main exogenous noxes that have the potential to trigger the illness are Epstein Barr Virus (EBV) infection, tobacco use, obesity since childhood, low vitamin D levels. Inflammatory infiltrates within the brain lesions contain CD4 and CD8 T-lymphocytes, activated monocytes and B-lymphocytes which lead to disruption of the myelin sheaths covering the nerves (Housley et al., 2015). It is considered that EBV infection contributes to production of B cells that provokes the activation of CNS inflammatory processes (Leffler et al., 2022). A relationship between gut microbiome-derived short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) and immune dysfunction in patients with early MS was proposed (Trend et al., 2021). According to a recent hypothesis the EBV infection and B-cell dysfunction connect with gut-associated lymphoid tissue leading to aberrant B-cell responses that guide pathogenic T-cell responses in the CNS (Leffler et al., 2022).

There is just as much literature available on psychological methods aimed at relieving stress. One can make creative and fast decisions without stress much more effectively. We will discuss these acute decisions and investigate them with a scientific approach, attempting to judge the propriety of decisions made in emergencies by medical personnel. We will investigate the results of our contemplative approach to this phenomenon through concrete examples.\u0000\u0000\u0000Deliberate practice of contemplative behavior daily gives one the ability to quickly retrieve the learned approach, previously studied and experienced in contemplative behavioral practice, during a given procedure. Once the information is retrieved regarding a certain procedure, it can be synthesized with the situation at hand, which allows for the formulation of an enhanced creative option that may increase the possibility of a successful procedure. Thus, the procedure together with the application of the contemplative approach could be acknowledged as a real innovative treatment after gaining scientific approval. This article gives an account of the application of the practiced contemplative approach during a craniopagus, resulting in the success of the procedure.\u0000\u0000\u0000The article gives an account of three different neurosurgical innovations that were possible with the application of the contemplative approach. These innovations eventually gained wide recognition, applied by many, leading to progress in neurosurgical challenges not conquerable before. The case study we investigate was the separation of a craniopagus in which the engraved spiritual algorithms of the stress-distress situation there because of contemplative practice led to the innovation of surgical techniques responsible for the success of the procedure.\u0000\u0000\u0000Spiritual silence is a helpful aid, swiftly attainable if the invocation of it is practiced every day. Ensuring the presence of spirituality during the mindful contemplation of procedures results in professional success of emergencies, demonstrated in the case of the neurosurgical separation of a craniopagus. Alongside a strong intellectual understanding of the profession, emphasis on spirituality allows for successful execution.

The relationship between depression and resilience seems evident, and studies in this area can help identify effective interventions and support for women with depressive disorders and strategies to prevent depression.\u0000Methods: The present study examines the relationship between depression and resilience using the Beck Depression Inventory – Short Form (BDI-SF) and the Resilience Scale for Adults (RSA). A non-clinical Portuguese female population was considered (n=240). A one-way ANOVA and logistic regression were performed.\u0000Results: There was a significant difference in resilience total score and all the sub-scales scores between the groups with and without depression, with non-depressed women manifesting significantly higher resilience than the depressed ones. The predictive analysis showed that individual Self Perception and Planned Future variables might contribute to explaining depression.\u0000Conclusions: Prevention strategies for female depression should be valued in public policies and include analyses and interventions on self-esteem, self-efficacy, emotional reactivity, self-compassion, prospecting and life purpose.
