In this investigation, we present the synthesis and brine shrimp lethality bioassay of Copper nanoparticles using Turbinaria ornate, marine algae. Methods: Fresh T. ornata was collected from the Mandapam, Southeast coast of India. The seaweed extract was sued for the synthesis of CuNPs at room temperature. The detail characterization of the nanoparticles was carried out, using Uvvis spectroscopy at 420nm. SEM analysis confirmed the range of particle size between 100-200nm. Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) spectroscopy analysis showed that the synthesized Copper nanoparticles are capped with biomolecule compounds which are responsible for reduction Copper ions. Results: The synthesized CuNPs were tested in vivo for their cytotoxic effect against the brine shrimp lethality bioassay and related toxicity result with them know cytotoxic activities. In the concentration of 0.75 mg/ml of Copper Nanoparticles of T. ornata about 50% shrimp remain survived after 24 hours. So LC50 value was seems to be 0.75 mg/ml. Conclusions: The above eco-friendly synthesis procedure of CuNPs could be easily scaled up in future for industrial and therapeutic needs.

Diclofenac sodium microspheres were successfully prepared using the chemical and thermal crosslinking method. Gluteraldehyde was used as the crosslinking agent. Thereafter, invitro release of diclofenac sodium from the microspheres was evaluated using simulated intestinal fluid as the medium. Increase in mucuna gum concentration did not delay rate of drug release but increased total cumulative drug released. Increase in crosslinking time slowed down release of the drug from the microspheres, an indication that modification of crosslinking time is important for sustained release. This could contribute towards producing sustained release diclofenac sodium which will improve patient compliance as a result of subsequent reduction in dosing frequency. None of the batches gave 100% drug release. This being the case, drug loading can be modified for optimum therapeutic effect.

Alternative therapies to chemotherapy exist. These include photodynamic therapy, laser therapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy. There were 10 other softer options to consider but the alternative cancer treatments can't cure cancer. Alternative treatments may lessen anxiety, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, pain, difficulty sleeping, and stress the common signs and symptoms and may offer some feeling of control, but many of these alternative cancer treatments are unproved as these may be turned out to be dangerous. Cancer treatments can be made safer and more precise by nanotechnology. Either you can burn cancer cells with the help of nanotechnology or you can deliver medicines even used for chemotherapy straight to the tumour by specially designed nanoparticles. On reaching the target only, they release the medicine and not before that. Healthy tissues around the tumour are saved from drugs from damaging the harming. Side effects which otherwise occur from this damage are thus avoided. Nanotechnology can also detect the cancer cells at the earliest stages while cells just start dividing, cure of cancer is easier. The pros and cons of nanotechnology and present chemotherapy are discussed in this paper.

Under the New Development Pattern angle of view, the consumption is the kinetic energy to turn "outside promotes the inside" to "inside promotes the outside". And the quality of consumption to a large extent reflects people's consumption. Consumption quality means that people's consumption is no longer limited to meet the most basic needs of life, but more attention to high-quality goods and service quality. With the improvement of consumption quality, people's physical and mental health develops more comprehensively, and social and economic development is more harmonious. In order to explore the growth of consumption quality, from the perspective of the new development pattern, we construct the consumption quality index system from four dimensions: The consumption quality of the consumer, the objective object of consumption, the external environment of the consumption society and the new development pattern, including 4 first-class indicators, 9 second-class indicators, and 15 third-class indicators. The factor comprehensive scores of consumption quality from 2001 to 2019 were obtained by principal component analysis.
The article comprehensively reviews the recent trends in use of nano fibers for wound dressings. Globally, chronic wounds impose a notable burden to patients and healthcare systems. Such skin wounds are readily subjected to bacteria that provoke inflammation and hence challenge the healing process. Furthermore, bacteria induce infection impeding re-epithelialization and collagen synthesis. With an estimated global market of $20.4 billion by 2021, appropriate wound dressing materials e.g. those composed of biopolymers originating from nature, are capable of alleviating the infection incidence and of accelerating the healing process. Particularly, biopolymeric nanofibrous dressings are biocompatible and mostly biodegradable and biomimic the extracellular matrix structure. Such nanofibrous dressings provide a high surface area and the ability to deliver antibiotics and antibacterial agents locally into the wound milieu to control infection. Skin and soft tissue infections are major concerns with respect to wound repair. Recently, anti-bacterial wound dressings have been emerging as promising candidates to reduce infection, thus accelerating the wound healing process. This paper presents our work to develop and characterize poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) chitosan (CS) silk sericin (SS) tetracycline (TCN) porous nanofibers, with diameters varying from 305 to 425 nm, both in vitro and in vivo for potential applications as wound dressings.

Delay and inappropriate healthcare-seeking behavior of caregivers’ were the major reason for under-five child death in developing countries including Ethiopia. According to WHO, a timely healthcare-seeking practice can effectively save the lives of children by 20%, particularly from ARIs, and significantly minimize morbidities. Therefore the aim of this study was to assess the magnitude of common childhood illness, healthcare-seeking behavior, and associated factors in Efratana Gidim District, East Amhara, Ethiopia, 2020.\u0000Methods\u0000\u0000A community based crossectional study was conducted from March 15 to April 15, 2020, among urban and rural respondents. Multistage sampling technique was employed with a total of 661 respondents by using semi-structured questionnaire through face to face interviews. Bivariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were carried out to assess the association between healthcare-seeking behavior and predictor variables. Odds ratio along with 95% confidence interval was used to measure the strength of associations and statistical significance was considered at p-value < 0.05.\u0000Results\u0000\u0000the overall two weeks prevalence of childhood illness was 24.1%, (95% CI: 21.1%-27.3%) and 59.1%, (95% CI: 51.1%-66.8%) of caregivers sought treatment at health facility. Moreover, fever, cough, and diarrhea accounted for 16.9%, 16.8%, and 11% respectively. Caregivers’ level of education (AOR = 2.56:95%CI: 1.09, 5.99) and residence (0.26: 95%CI: 0.09, 0.73) were significant factors for childhood illness and experience of child death (AOR = 3.766; 95%CI: 1.726, 8.873), diarrheal symptoms (AOR = 3.914; 95%CI: 2.043, 10.828) and access to transportation (AOR = 3.352; 95%CI: 1.049, 10.710) were predictors of healthcare seeking behavior of caregivers.\u0000Conclusion\u0000\u0000 the prevalence of common childhood illness was high however; treatment-seeking behavior of caregivers for common childhood illness was low. Caregivers’ experience of child death before, symptoms of diarrhea, and access to transportation were predictors of Healthcare-seeking behavior. Therefore repeated health education on basic prevention measures of common childhood illnesses and health promotion strategies to enhance caregivers’ Healthcare-seeking behavior are critically important. .

At the same time people are buying 60%more clothing than 15 Years ago, which going in the landfills, causes 92 million tons of waste each year. This waste has been further increased by the surgical masks used for COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, a new way of designing and producing clothing needs to be incorporated into the current system to facilitate its recycling making it more circular. New tissues, therefore, are proposed made by natural polysaccharides, embedded by micro- Nano capsules of chitin Nano fibrils and Nano lignin all obtained as by- products from food and forestry waste respectively. Thus, pollution and waste will be reduced and the natural raw materials will be maintained for the future generations.

The population mindset was to dismiss science, the virus and hope to dodge the pandemic with a fabric over the mouth and a free vaccine that will result in more than 600,000 deaths, and over 30 Million infected. In fact, masks are filters, and have a limited protection factor, known when used in medical practice. The masks were mainly designed and measured for stopping solid particulates, but when used against aerosolized watery droplets loaded with bio-agents nano-fluidic effects are responsible for anomalous, nonlinear and unpredictable complex behavior. Using an aerodynamic test bench, and various sizes of radioactive nano-powders, we performed measurements on the retention factor dependence for various filter materials of airflow magnitude, temperature, airflow regime, and filter's load. The results showed that a retention function of particle magnitude, measured for particulates, vary with temperature and when filter is used for aerosolized loaded watery droplets, an "atomization" effect happens transforming larger aerosols in finer ones, due to micro-nano-fluidic and aerodynamic instabilities. The measurements showed that pulsed and reciprocating airflow regimes trigger loaded filters to release some of previously retained particles, making the masks offer a reduced protection factor, and imposing special rules of safe usage. It was not told to public that is a contagious person uses correctly a mask, without any lateral leakage, through the mask passes nano-sized, airborne aerosols, containing virioli that float in air for weeks, driven by air currents, and special complementary measures to sterilize or remove the air have to be taken for safety.
