This article gives a general introduction to the technical route of Power to Gas and the present progress in China and abroad. The energy storage model of integrating curtailed wind energy with hydrogen production is established based on real time data throughout a whole year in a wind farm and in this model two operation scenarios are assumed. From the model, several conclusions of addressing heavy wind curtailment are withdrawn and economical availability is analyzed. As well, this article points out the potential problems of this route in real hydrogen production system. Based on the STIRPAT model, by using robust quantile regression, we studied the change of the relationship between CO2 emissions, population, affluence and technology at different CO2 emissions levels during the period 1992-2009. Low energy costs compiled with low taxation make it lucrative to \u0000foreign energy-intensive companies to operate in the region. Energy consumption \u0000in GCC has increased by 74% in the period between 2000 and 2010 and it is \u0000projected to increase by approximately 10% to 15% between 2010 and 2020. \u0000Embracing the general commitment by GCC states to reduce greenhouse gas \u0000emission (GHG) of United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) \u0000has started the process of environmental awakening in the GCC countries due to \u0000its high vulnerability to the effects of climate change. This paper reviews the \u0000trends in shift to renewable energy with reference to GCC and also the \u0000co-benefits of investing in renewable energy. Solar plant and \u0000Building-Integrated Photo-Voltaic (BIPV) systems are the most invested \u0000projects. The contingent valuation method (CVM) using the double bounded bivariate probit econometric method was employed to estimate WTP for sustainable forest management. Household survey was randomly conducted in 218 respondents purposively selected from three forest development cooperatives. The bivariate probit model was run to estimate mean WTP and to identify the determinant factors for farmers’ WTP for forest conservation. Thus, the mean WTP with covariates was estimated to be 104.38 Ethiopian Birr (ETB) and 55.73 ETB1 per year for the initial bid and for the follow-up bid amount, respectively. The result also indicated that respondents’ level of education, marital status, years of membership in the cooperatives, second bid amount, distance of residence from forest of interest, and net family income were significantly related to WTP for forest conservation. The study showed that even the poor households were willing to pay the average values in terms of cash contribution to maintain the forest management responsibility following the withdrawal of the NGO. In conclusion, whereas CVM can be applied to determine WTP for forest conservation, local people recognize and give value to the environmental services of the forest and are willing to maintain those benefits. Technology transfer is important for the efficient use of these technologies globally. Such transfer/cooperation should be implemented, at sector basis, broadly and unlimitedly beyond conventional framework. In this paper, an Integrated Contribution Approach is proposed as a domestic as well as a global strategy. This approach unifies two approaches: seeking ways to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, further improve technical capabilities and encourage technical innovation; and implementing technology transfer effectively, clarifying contributions and promoting efforts to achieve substantial global GHG reduction. As an illustration, this paper estimated the technical potential of solar generation in the developing world by the year 2020, considering current and anticipated technology development. The estimate suggests a huge possibility for CO2 reduction as well as business opportunities through worldwide technology cooperation based on recognition of the importance of continual technology development. To achieve such goals, a scheme promoting incentives for private investment is indispensable as it is essential to use economic forces as well as government policy. Low carbon economy is the best economic model in response to the global warming and the greenhouse gas reduction. The cold heading machine is the main manufacturing production; it consumes a lot of energy and resources in the manufacturing and using stage, at the same time to produce greenhouse gases; therefore, the low carbon performance of cold heading machine will have a direct impact on the environmental protection.
