According to the literature review in China and abroad, this paper breaks the limitations of existing literatures which just focus on discussing the concept of carbon cost management and accounting the carbon cost in operating activities. Combined with the management accounting role definition of full participation in business decision and based on the value chain theory, this paper introduces marketing, human resource management etc. in carbon cost management accounting scope. Also, it recognizes carbon management factors and provides accounting formulas to build a total carbon cost management system and draw its panorama. With this total carbon cost management system, companies could acquire accurate carbon cost statistics to support their business decisions in carbon market.

Off-grid solar technologies can help meet some of the energy needs of these people but have faced a variety of financial, technical, and political barriers. Pro-poor innovation, led by emerging enterprises such as Green Light Planet (GLP), holds the key to understanding how low carbon technologies such as off-grid solar might achieve scale. This case study builds on prior research examining what factors affect the ability of an off-grid solar firm to achieve scale in India by examining the most successful company in terms of unit sales. Through that extensive research of the off-grid market in India, it was revealed that GLP far outsold other companies in its class around 2015. One of the factors affecting its ability to scale is the fact that its products are modular and require little to no financing for the customers. This case study further reveals that the company’s main innovation is the business model, which relies on networks of sales agents operating under a system of sales targets, incentives and boosters. By shifting the responsibility of making sales to last-mile entrepreneurs, the company leverages its network to continuously move inventory off the shelf and into the hands of customers.

It contributes to measuring the progress towards a green economy and to making it accessible for policymaking in Germany. The concept used to measure the green economy looks at six dimensions: 1) use of natural resources and environmental damage caused, 2) natural capital, 3) environmental quality of life, 4) green economy: Economic dimension and fields of action, 5) policies: Institutional framework and measures, and 6) background information on economic and social development. For each dimension the concept includes indicators. The concept fulfils two main purposes: Firstly, it is designed to monitor progress towards a green economy ex-post and secondly some of the proposed indicators can be used to assess policy options ex-ante. Scenario analysis (PANTA RHEI model) is used to apply the concept to Germany’s energy transition. Many indicators will improve until 2030 despite some trade-offs.

With the continuous improvement of \u0000economic development level, the consumption structure of residents is also \u0000changing, and then the carbon dioxide emission produced by residents is also \u0000changing. Therefore, this paper used LMDI decomposition method to calculate and \u0000analyze the indirect energy consumption of Guangzhou residents carbon \u0000emissions, which creatively used the LMDI method in the study of urban \u0000residents on the carbon emissions. In bacteria, ParA/B systems are known to generate various intracellular patterns that underlie the transport and partitioning of low-copy-number cargos such as plasmids. ParA/B systems consist of ParA, an ATPase that dimerizes and binds DNA upon ATP binding, and ParB, a protein that binds the cargo and stimulates ParA ATPase activity. Inside cells, ParA is asymmetrically distributed, forming a propagating wave that is followed by the ParB-rich cargo. These correlated dynamics lead to cargo oscillation or equidistant spacing over the nucleoid depending on whether the cargo is in single or multiple copies. Currently, there is no model that explains how these different spatial patterns arise and relate to each other. Here, we test a simple DNA-relay model that has no imposed asymmetry and that only considers the ParA/ParB biochemistry and the known fluctuating and elastic dynamics of chromosomal loci. Stochastic simulations with experimentally derived parameters demonstrate that this model is sufficient to reproduce the signature patterns of ParA/B systems: the propagating ParA gradient correlated with the cargo dynamics, the single-cargo oscillatory motion, and the multicargo equidistant patterning. Stochasticity of ATP hydrolysis breaks the initial symmetry in ParA distribution, resulting in imbalance of elastic force acting on the cargo. Our results may apply beyond ParA/B systems as they reveal how a minimal system of two players, one binding to DNA and the other modulating this binding, can transform directionally random DNA fluctuations into directed motion and intracellular patterning.
