This paper focuses on the effect of a magnetic field and heat flux on a Shrinking / Stretching Sheet in a base fluid. Nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) are reduced to nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) via a similarity transformation, which are then numerically solved for two types of nanoparticles, namely copper and alumina, in the water-based fluid using the shooting technique. Considering the steady two-dimensional stagnation-point flow of a water-based nanofluid over a stretching/shrinking sheet. For some of the governing parameters of Grashof number (Gr), magnetic field (M), Prandtl number (Pr), and volume fraction (  ), the velocity and temperature profiles were presented graphically and thoroughly discussed. It found that magnetic parameters and Grashof number solutions for a shrinking/stretching sheet increase velocity while decreasing temperature. minor effect on temperature, while in alumina (Al2O3-water), the velocity decreases appreciably with an increase in the nanoparticle volume fraction and simple increase effect in temperature, the highest prandle numbers reduce velocity and temperature profiles for copper and alumina.","PeriodicalId":90815,"journal":{"name":"Current science international","volume":"64 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69663068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Infected basil leaves with AMV showed severe malformations of peltate GT on leaves, which differed structurally by viral infection. A double-antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (DAS-ELISA) was used to assess the elimination of AMV using three apical meristem sizes (0.2, 0.3, and 0.4 mm). All the used sizes produced AMV-free O. basilicum explants (100%). The apical meristem sizes (0.3 and 0.4 mm) had a pronounced effect on the maximum establishment or ratio of survival rates (76.6 and 80 %). The AMV-free plants derived from the meristem size (0.4 mm) were multiplied on MS medium supplemented with 0.5 mg/l of BA and 0.5 mg/l of JA. Micrographs of in vitro cultures displayed broad secretory glands and trichomes of type non-glandular, indicating somewhat significant homogeneity among the adaxial and abaxial leaf surfaces of the regenerated plants in vitro and the healthy basil leaves in the open field. In conclusion, GT structure in diseased leaves might serve as a sign of viral disease stress. Based on the findings of this study, the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries also benefit significantly from the in vitro method.","PeriodicalId":90815,"journal":{"name":"Current science international","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69663564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Results showed that substitution of (PPP) and (PPS) for starch, especially at 10 and 15% in CCl4 intoxicated rats, increased body weight gain. This substitution also decreased the levels of serum liver function enzymes, improved lipid profiles, and increased the activity levels of antioxidant enzymes in CCl4 intoxicated rats. Histopathological examination revealed alleviation of hepatic lesions caused by CCl4 by increasing the percentage of PPP and PPS used. In conclusion, it was suggested that PPP and PPS could protect the liver cells from CCl4 induced liver damages perhaps, by its antioxidative effect on hepatocytes, hence eliminating the deleterious effects of toxic metabolites from CCl4. So, the present study recommended that the use of PPP and PPS may be useful for patients suffering from liver diseases due to its hepatoprotective and hypolipidemic activities. polyunsaturated fatty acids, and amino acids. The present work aimed to study the possibility of using PPP and PPS on hepatic diseases, cholesterol, and the biological and histopathological effects of experimental rats that have had hepatic injury induced by CCl4. From these results, it was suggested that prickly pear peels and prickly pear seeds could protect the liver cells from CCl4-induced liver damage, perhaps by their antioxidative effect on hepatocytes, hence eliminating the deleterious effects of toxic metabolites from CCl4. As a result of their hepatoprotective and hypolipidemic activities, prickly pear peels and prickly pear seeds were recommended in this study for patients suffering from liver diseases. Further studies are required in this field.","PeriodicalId":90815,"journal":{"name":"Current science international","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69660861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Laparoscopic repair has advantages over open repair. Traditionally, laparoscopic ventral hernia repair has been done as a bridging repair, with the fascial defect circumferentially overlapped. Primary fascial closure to reaproximate the fascia before mesh implantation has become more popular in recent years. Aim of the work: The goal of this study is to examine our experience of repairing ventral and incisional hernia by laparoscope in order to evaluate the outcomes and differences in fascial defect closure and non-closure in our ventral and incisional hernia repair experience. Patients and methods: 60 patients with ventral and incisional hernias were treated at Al-Azhar University Hospital in New Damietta from July 2018 to July 2020. Laparoscopic repair was decided for all patients. Results: The mean operative time by hours for group A (2.1±0.2) Vs group B (1.3±0.4) with highly significant deferent between 2 group p < 0.001. As regards the acute post-operative pain: (group B) showed less degree of pain post-operative complications: Post-operative seroma were reported in 5 cases (16.6%) of the group A and 11 cases (36.7%) of the group B recurrence, During the one-year follow-up period, 1 case in group A and 4 cases in group B experienced recurrent incisional hernia. In group A, we had one patient with a serosal intestine rip and two patients in group B. Conclusion: Although there were no significant statistical differences between the fascial closure and non-closure groups, the fascial closure group had reduced seroma and recurrence.","PeriodicalId":90815,"journal":{"name":"Current science international","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69661022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The two holes in all previous works are conformally mapped outside the unit circle. In the presence of an initial heat flow perpendicular to the plate, these are conformally mapped into the unit circle. The holes take on a variety of shapes, allowing this study to be applied to a wide range of situations, including caves, tunnels, and excavations in solids or rocks. The physical meaning of stress components is investigated by obtaining and plotting them. The various forms are received using Maple 2019. There are several applications that are studied and discussed.","PeriodicalId":90815,"journal":{"name":"Current science international","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69661601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A total number of 32 female albino rats. Animals were divided into four groups; Group 1: Negative control group Group 2: Positive control group, animals in this group were administrated with Malathion (50 mg/kg/day) intraperitoneally, Group 3: Animals in this group were orally administrated with vitamin C (100 mg/kg/day) and Group 4: Animals in this group were administrated with malathion (50 mg/kg/day) intraperitoneally with vitamin C (100 mg/kg/day) orally. The blood samples were centrifuged in cooling centrifuge to separate serum to measure aspartate amino transferase (AST) and alanine amino transferase (ALT) activity, total protein and albumin. Tissues of the liver was homogenized to estimate the content of reduced glutathione (GSH), malondialdehyde (MDA) and the activity of copper-zinc superoxide dismutase (SOD). Also another portion of the liver tissue was homogenized to isolate mitochondria to estimate the content of GSH, MDA and the activity of SOD, nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor2 (Nrf2) and kelch like ECH associated protein 1(keap1). Histological examination of the tissues was conducted after removal of liver tissues from rats. The results indicated a significant increase MDA level in the liver and mitochondria homogenates of malathion-treated rats compared to the negative control ones. Malathion also resulted in a significant decrease in liver and mitochondrial GSH content. ALT & AST activities significantly increased while protein and albumin significantly decreased compared to the negative control. The obtained results illustrated that rats treated with Malathion for 30 days showed a significant decrease in Nrf2 while Keap1 decreased significantly compared to the negative control group. Animals treated with malathion+ vitamin C showed an improvement in all these parameters and the histological study confirmed these result. In a conclusion, vitamin C can ameliorate the hazardous effects of Malathion.","PeriodicalId":90815,"journal":{"name":"Current science international","volume":"87 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69660158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
