Interventions should be used efficiently considering resources to give maximum health benefits to population at large level. There is also need of logical and research based approaches that decrease burden of disease, having cost effective analysis with equity basis in the society. Therefore, multiple scientific approaches are essential in clinical settings to deal with different health issues.","PeriodicalId":89408,"journal":{"name":"Journal of clinical research & bioethics","volume":"9 1","pages":"1-3"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70309568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Paying respect to the decision of a patient in a hospital setting is always a challenging task. In eastern countries, family plays an important role in decision making. Several inflammatory mediators (interleukins, IFN-γ, TNF-α etc.) released during disease have been implied in the pathogenesis, which also cause ischemia. Case report: A 60-years old man working in livestock production presented to emergency department with vomiting, fever and impaired balance and gait. In laboratory evaluation, it was found that there was elevation in hepatic enzymes, decreased platelet and leukocyte counts. The patient underwent magnetic resonance (MR) imaging due to gait disorder, revealing restricted diffusion at pons compatible with acute infarct. The patient was admitted with the diagnosis of CCHF and ischemic stroke secondary to infection. During follow-up, no hemorrhage was observed and the patient was discharged as he achieved clinical recovery. Conclusion: In this case report, we discussed ischemic stroke developed secondary to infection in a patient with CCHF and its management in the light of literature.","PeriodicalId":89408,"journal":{"name":"Journal of clinical research & bioethics","volume":"9 1","pages":"1-3"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70309635","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It addressed a topic that was still rather marginal in the literature at that time, and was considered by many traditional doctors more as a curiosity than a serious medical issue. During the discussions that took place at the Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics of the Panmerican University of Mexico City, however, it became soon clear that this was not a form of ‘alternative medicine’, but rather a new method susceptible of controlled applications in certain clinical situations. The scientific legitimacy of this method is supported by the analysis of the objective anatomical-physiological effects that laughing produces at the bodily level, but this is not the most significant point. Of direct medical interest is the appreciation of the positive effects that laughter produces at the psychological level and have impacts on the health of the patient. This topic has been studied in its general features [1-4], and with specific attention to laughter in [5-7]. One can say that it is a particular aspect of phychosomatic medicine that, as such, has a rather long tradition.","PeriodicalId":89408,"journal":{"name":"Journal of clinical research & bioethics","volume":"8 1","pages":"1-2"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.4172/2155-9627.1000316","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70309920","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, authorities from both sides timidly rehearse an approach intention. Some phenomena that seem to counteract the common sense of reality are genuine calls for collaboration between science and religion. Spiritism (not synonym of spiritualism) was conceived as science, philosophy, and religion, all together. The form into which Spiritism has evolved in Brazil is very peculiar, taking contours of a religious denomination. Specific therapeutic approaches were developed to prevent and to restore a balanced spiritual-energetic state. Thus, most adepts search spiritist centres due to physical and mental health problems. The interest on the interface between medicine and the Spiritist Doctrine led to the creation of the Spiritist Medical Association. The Spiritist Medical Model aims at a change to a more humanized medicine, with a pretension of presenting to the world a renewed vision of the human being. Thus, it also brought the philosophical dictates from Spiritism to value implications of healthcare practices. Spiritism has many arguments with potential do fill some gaps about the human nature, which can contribute to understanding many unexplained or misinterpreted phenomena. Medical debates may be enriched with its principles, with potential to contribute for a paradigm shift on medicine and science. Currently, scholar researchers linked to this ideal are trying to sew all these fields in a continuous fabric. Who knows if, in the next 50 years, this constant dialog among science, philosophy, religion, medicine and bioethics will fade off the borders of these disciplines? At this point, the human knowledge will be facing a real paradigm shift.","PeriodicalId":89408,"journal":{"name":"Journal of clinical research & bioethics","volume":"8 1","pages":"1-3"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.4172/2155-9627.1000313","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70309988","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there are reasons to suggest that, in addition to focusing on specific groups of parents, interdisciplinary research groups could investigate multiple voices within and purposefully invite vaccine-hesitant researchers to collaborate. This project involved interviews with vaccine-hesitant parents and the creation of an educational film about vaccine hesitancy. The article exposes aspects of critical conversations between an artist and a scientist, two collaborators representing different disciplines and different degrees of vaccine acceptance. Due to the differences in values and roles, the project engendered a methodological proposition and a “safe space” in which the collaborators could engage in dialogue with a person representing different views on immunization. The collaborators represented a simulated vaccine-hesitant individual and vaccine expert, enabling them to practice and reflect on their communication.","PeriodicalId":89408,"journal":{"name":"Journal of clinical research & bioethics","volume":"9 1","pages":"1-2"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70309682","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The answer is that, one usually does not intend to become an addict. Someone woke up in the morning and become a drug addict, studies has shown that it takes at least three months’ shooting twice a day to get any habit et al. [1]. Studies have proven that mostly drugs addict’s start taking narcotics without any reason (WHO, 2011). Drug addiction is a chronic, often deteriorating brain disease that causes compulsive drug seeking and use, despite the harmful significance to the drug addict and those around them, and if we specifically talk about the narcotic drug addiction which is taken intravenously, it is more dangerous and harmful than the others [2].
