Measurements in 4 aerodrome sites were aimed to determine signal amplitude and temporal characteristics, spectral (octave band 2 to 16 000 Hz), and levels of total infrared, maximal (LА, dB) and equivalent sound (LАeq, dB). It was found that the aerodrome conditioner is a source of high-intensity wide-band noise with character and intensity dependent on the conditioner location and operation mode. Noise measurements on esplanade and work stations during flight preparation of a fighter-bomber, and in the hanger with the aerodrome conditioner on showed that the equivalent sound varied in the range from 97 to 114 dB. Health effects of this acoustic environment should be reduced using engineering controls and personal protectors.","PeriodicalId":8683,"journal":{"name":"Aviakosmicheskaia i ekologicheskaia meditsina = Aerospace and environmental medicine","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67951592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With aging these cells more and more often activatesenescence (cell aging) that alters cell functions and microenvironment which can be the reason for age-related pathologies. One of the features of senescent MSCs is thought to be a decline of multipotency that may limit their reparative functions in tissues. The paper presents a study of the MSCs osteogenic and adipogenic potential during replicative senescence. A decline of the MSCs adipogenic potential was associated with downregulation of PPARG,(a key transcription regulator of adipogenesis). There was evidence of reciprocal increasing of the osteogenic potential even though the several positive osteogenesis regulators (BMP2, BMP6, IGF1, IL1B) were downregulated. Besides, during differentiation matrix calcification was enhanced and osteoprotegerin concentration increased that can be an issue in context of atherosclerotic plaques calcification in elder people. Expression of key osteogenesis regulator RUNX2 and markers SPARC, SPP1, COL1A1, BGLAP remained stable during replicative senescence of MSCs.","PeriodicalId":8683,"journal":{"name":"Aviakosmicheskaia i ekologicheskaia meditsina = Aerospace and environmental medicine","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67953864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In aging rats, decrease of systolic blood pressure (BPs) was not accompanied by considerable changes in heart rate (HR) or HRV. In none of the age groups a short exposure to the cold (30 min at 0 °С) caused stable changes in BPs and HR; however, recovery of the high-frequency HRV spectrum in 22-mo old rats took more time than in the other age groups. Atmospheric pressure fluctuations (10–15 mmHg) did not influence hemodynamics in 10-mo rats substantially. In 22-mo old rats, atmospheric pressure growth and decrease increased BPs. Besides, low atmospheric pressure was the reason of tachicardia and narrowing of the HRV high-frequency spectrum in this group. These data witness to the inhibition of vagus reactions to external environment stimuli in aged animals that may make them sensitive to climatic variations and compromise hemodynamics.","PeriodicalId":8683,"journal":{"name":"Aviakosmicheskaia i ekologicheskaia meditsina = Aerospace and environmental medicine","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67953010","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Analysis of the molecular changes in hippocamp dopamine receptors revealed changes in irradiated rats including, specifically, intensive expression of monoamine oxidase А, substrates for which are serotonin, adrenalin, noradrenaline and histamine. The EEG spectral and amplitude-frequency characteristics were analyzed. Comparison of primary EEG data regardless of rhythms brought to light a downward trend in the alpha frequencies. A similar trend was observed in the center frequencies and amplitudes of the most expressed peak, and the center frequency and amplitude of the delta highest peak. More anxious behavior and a somewhat quicker learning to fulfill the Morris tests and conditioned response of active avoidance in the shuttle chamber were in harmony with changes in metabolites of hippocamp dopamine and serotonin.","PeriodicalId":8683,"journal":{"name":"Aviakosmicheskaia i ekologicheskaia meditsina = Aerospace and environmental medicine","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67951259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most common reason for termination of occupational saturation dives and early decompression is mycotic otitis externa and otitis media. The results point to the fact that regardless of diver's biotope from the beginning of the isopression phase, the commensal microflora decreases gradually and the count of opportunistic gram-negative bacteria rises. These bacteria demonstrate high resistance to many stress factors. Molecular mechanisms of this resistance are poorly understood. Sanitary/hygienic monitoring resulted in detection and isolation of strain Bacillus pumilus 25. The investigation was aimed to test B. pumilus 25 resistance to oxidative agents, antibiotics, and to analyze expression of genes associated with the cell response to DNA damage and hydrogen sulfide production. The strain was identified by sequencing 16S RNA and MALDI-TOF analysis. Resistance to stresses and antibiotics was tested with the use of standard microbiological methods. Level of mRNA genes was determined with the real-time polymerase chain reaction. Our results evidence for heightened B. pumilus 25 resistance to the oxidative stress and majority of the antibiotics used in the investigation. This resistance seems to be associated with high expression of the ku-ligD operon genes, and elevated production of hydrogen sulfide.","PeriodicalId":8683,"journal":{"name":"Aviakosmicheskaia i ekologicheskaia meditsina = Aerospace and environmental medicine","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67957433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
