Saanouni","doi":"10.1515/anly-2022-1055","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1515/anly-2022-1055","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract This work studies the coupled nonlinear fourth-order wave system u ¨ i + Δ 2 u i + u i = ± ( ∑ 1 ≤ j ≤ m a i j | u j | p ) | u i | p - 2 u i . ddot{u}_{i}+Delta^{2}u_{i}+u_{i}=pmbigg{(}sum_{1leq jleq m}a_{ij}lvert u% _{j}rvert^{p}biggr{)}lvert u_{i}rvert^{p-2}u_{i}. The main goal is to develop a local theory in the energy space and to investigate some issues of the global theory. Indeed, using a standard contraction argument coupled with Strichartz estimates, one obtains a local solution in the inhomogeneous Sobolev space ( H 1 ) m {(H^{1})^{m}} for the energy sub-critical regime. Then the local solution extends to a global one in the attractive regime; also in the energy critical case there is a global solution with small data. For a repulsive source term, by using the potential well theory with a concavity argument, the local solution may concentrate in finite time or extend to a global one. Finally, in the inter-critical regime, one proves the existence of infinitely many non-global solutions with data near to the stationary solution. Here, one needs to deal with the coupled source term which gives some technical restrictions such as p ≥ 2 {pgeq 2} in order to avoid a singularity. This assumption in the inter-critical regime gives a restriction on the space dimension.","PeriodicalId":82310,"journal":{"name":"Philosophic research and analysis","volume":"139 1","pages":"31 - 47"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85372862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main aim of our study is to introduce a new bicomplex generalization of the Hurwitz–Lerch zeta function using the new generalized form of the beta function that involves the Appell series and Lauricella functions. The new bicomplex generalization of the Hurwitz–Lerch zeta function reduces to some already known functions like the Hurwitz–Lerch zeta function, Hurwitz zeta function, Riemann zeta function and polylogarithmic function. Its different properties such as recurrence relation, summation formula, differentiation formula, generating relations and integral representations are investigated. All results induced are general in nature and reducible to already known results. As an application of the new bicomplex generalization of the Hurwitz–Lerch zeta function, we have developed a new generalized form of fractional kinetic equation and obtained its solution using the natural transform.","PeriodicalId":82310,"journal":{"name":"Philosophic research and analysis","volume":"26 1","pages":"71 - 88"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84119263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is known as the separation principle, which does not generally hold for nonlinear systems. For nonlinear systems, the output feedback problem is usually pursued by extending the results of observer synthesis, which itself is a challenging problem. In this paper, we investigate the stabilization via an observer configuration problem for some classes of nonlinear time-varying systems by using new integral inequalities of Gronwall type. Given that the sufficient conditions of the controller and observer problem are satisfied, we show that the proposed controller with estimated state feedback from the proposed practical observer will achieve the global practical exponential stabilization. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is shown through simulation for two numerical examples.","PeriodicalId":82310,"journal":{"name":"Philosophic research and analysis","volume":"55 1","pages":"15 - 30"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85392917","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These nonlinear mappings are formulated by means of an abstract measure theoretical integral involving a finite measure. This flexible setting creates a common framework to tackle both such operators based on the Lebesgue integral like frequently met in applications, as well as, e.g., their spatial discretization using stable quadrature/cubature rules (Nyström methods). Under suitable Carathéodory conditions on the kernel functions, properties like well-definedness, boundedness, (complete) continuity and continuous differentiability are established. Furthermore, the special case of Hammerstein operators is understood as composition of Fredholm and Nemytskii operators. While our differentiability results for Urysohn operators appear to be new, the section on Nemytskii operators has a survey character. Finally, an appendix provides a rather comprehensive account summarizing the required preliminaries for Hölder continuous functions defined on metric spaces.","PeriodicalId":82310,"journal":{"name":"Philosophic research and analysis","volume":"9 1","pages":"205 - 240"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74393782","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
