Zone III involvement never progress beyond Stage 1, and Zone II beyond Stage 2. Severity of ROP could not be related to the level of IGF-1. Retinal capillary dilation and leakage was observed of the left eye without systemic manifestations and spontaneously resolved without treatment in 2 months.
