This system is applied to the door of the Integrated Laboratory of the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Lampung. The electronic keys that are created are very difficult to break into and also easy to change the access secret code to maintain confidentiality. The developed electronic door lock device has strong security reliability with code validation. The code validation block serves as a door unlock determinant. The validated data will produce a signal 1 which will drive the actuator, in this case the door lock solenoid, to work (lock open). The security code has 2554 combinations. To access the door from outside, the RFID tag should be registered in the database and permitted by administration and the ID number data is on the processor. The counter will count the number of people who pass through the door, if more than one person then the buzzer will sound. Then the door lock solenoid is closed and will lock the door again. From the experimental results it is found that this system can work well with a minimum delay of 1.8 s obtained at a distance between devices of 5 m.","PeriodicalId":7884,"journal":{"name":"Andalasian International Journal of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology","volume":"15 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78935062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the COVID-19 pandemic era ventilator become necessary thing to treat Covid patient especially for worst cases patient. With increasing in people who infected by COVID-19 around the world and also in Indonesia, caused the demand of the ventilator system also increased significantly. In Indonesia many research institution and universities have been initiated to develop the emergency ventilator to support the increasing demand. Some companies in Indonesia initiate to develop the component of the lung ventilator to support other research institution therefore to minimize dependency from import product which is in the pandemic era the component such as flow meter and blower fan is difficult to get caused by stock limitation. In this paper we expose the process on development of three essential component part of the lung ventilator, i.e., respiratory flow meter (RFM), respiratory blower fan (RBF), and positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP) valve. The development of these components is using a standard design procedure and utilized with some design software for obtaining the optimum design result.","PeriodicalId":7884,"journal":{"name":"Andalasian International Journal of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology","volume":"81 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87148387","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From the results of measurements at high humidity 95% and high conductivity 36 mS/cm at a working voltage of 2-20kV test there is a change in the curve of increasing the value of the leakage current which is very volatile. Wet layer of impurity will cause a drastic decrease in surface resistance resulting in a large increase in leakage current. At a high conductivity of 36 mS/cm, the results of the measurement of surface resistance at low humidity of 55% worth 30.2 giga ohms decreased to 2.1 giga ohms at high humidity of 95%. While the value of the leakage current curve is very fluctuating from the value of 206 - 678 A at high conductivity with heavy pollutants. This information confirms the hypothesis that the boundary region of the two air-solid dielectrics of the epoxy resin causes surface discharge problems in dry band formation due to an increase in the non-uniform local electric field in the impurity layer adhering to the surface of the distribution current transformer.\u0000Keywords : leakage current, dry band, surface discharge, contaminants","PeriodicalId":7884,"journal":{"name":"Andalasian International Journal of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89817866","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sedimentation unit with continuous discharges flow or (CDF) method is a sedimentation unit that applies the leaking tank phenomenon, so it is possible that it will affect the condition of the floc that has been formed and in the end can affect the efficiency of turbidity removal. This study was to determine the effect of the type of coagulant in the coagulation unit on the removal of raw water turbidity in the sedimentation unit using the CDF method with a 6% discharge ratio to the product discharge. The raw water used is Sungai Batang Kuranji water with a turbidity of 27.63 NTU. The experimental reactor consisted of a coagulation-flocculation unit and a sedimentation unit with various coagulants being Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC), Ferric Chloride, and Alum. The results showed that the efficiency of removing turbidity from the Sungai Batang Kuranji by PAC coagulant was 90.12%, Ferric Chloride 86.99%, and Alum 81.72%. The Spearman correlation value of the coagulant variable on the efficiency of the removal of turbidity is 0.948, indicating a unidirectional effect between the two variables. The addition of 6% CDF flow in the settling zone did not break the floc because the flow formed was still laminar.","PeriodicalId":7884,"journal":{"name":"Andalasian International Journal of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82246399","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
