Simultaneous temperature measurements and laboratory tests do not produce any restriction. Enzymatic disorders were provable adequate to the clinical course. The ultrasonic effect guarantees a nearly riskless dissection in the layer. Joining processes, by adding Ligament-FIMOMED, produced a waterproof occlusion of parenchymal wounds. The cross-section of the pancreas with the pancreatic duct was sealed sufficiently. Also the jointed pancreato-jejunostomy remained sufficient. The reaction of the pancreatic parenchyma to the power ultrasound was small. A scarred metaplasia evolved immediately at the adhesive as a chronic atrophic interstitial pancreatitis. Only in case of occlusion of the pancreatic duct this alteration comprehended the whole pancreas.
","PeriodicalId":77647,"journal":{"name":"Zeitschrift fur experimentelle Chirurgie, Transplantation, und kunstliche Organe : Organ der Sektion Experimentelle Chirurgie der Gesellschaft fur Chirurgie der DDR","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1989-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"13767282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR) were depressed after 30 minutes than stabilized after 2 hours anaesthesia regardless of the inhalational agent. Respiratory rate (RR) slowed down markedly unter I and E anaesthesia. Significant R depression was developed (PCO2 53.5 +/- 2.44 Torr) under E. Stabil metabolic condition was maintained. The R and CV changes caused by H and I were far less than changes produced by E. H or I is preferable to E for small animal anaesthesia with spontaneous breathing. The ultrasound attenuation as function of the frequency was recorded ultrasound-spectroscopically about the complete frequency spectrum of the ultrasound-broad range transformer (3-8 MHz). The frequency dependence of the attenuation behaviour differed in the 10 normal testes from the 20 pathologically changed biopsies by smaller values of the ultrasound attenuation coefficient a (linear regression analysis). {"title":"Isolated acinar cells from rat pancreas in pathogenic studies on acute pancreatitis.","authors":"G Letko, B Falkenberg, R Matthias","doi":"","DOIUrl":"","url":null,"abstract":"

In the pathogenesis of acute pancreatitis the events and mechanisms increasing the digestibility of the acinar cells are widely unknown. To study these processes at cellular level, isolated exocrine cells from rat pancreas were utilized as experimental tool. The investigations revealed that extracellularly acting noxae seem to be of less importance to triggering autodigestion. The plasma membrane of the acinar cells was relatively resistant to extracellular trypsin, while anoxia or uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation obviously reduced the survival of these cells. Combined action of small amounts of trypsin and partial uncoupling resulted in a potentiated cell destruction. The findings presented stress the importance of a well-functioning energy metabolism for the protective potential of acinar cells to further harmful conditions.
","PeriodicalId":77647,"journal":{"name":"Zeitschrift fur experimentelle Chirurgie, Transplantation, und kunstliche Organe : Organ der Sektion Experimentelle Chirurgie der Gesellschaft fur Chirurgie der DDR","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1989-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"13919669","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
