The greatest success rate was achieved by medical gymnastics, whereas the perineal electrical stimulation should be used as supporting measure like a biofeedback mechanism because of its low effective intensity. Data system nephrology - outpatient service 2. Individual dialysis/urea kinetics 3. Data system nephrology/dialysis (DSND). The latter system was developed in Schwerin and is available to all dialysis units. Data administration of constant patient groups and for complicated documentation methods can be rationalized by enlisting computer technology. This is also true for organisation and scientific studies, especially in cases where more than 50 dialysis patients are concerned. DSND offers a variable menue, which is prepared in dialogue and reveals over screen or printer clinical, dialysis-specific or Labdata and contains testprogrammes, warning and results. In 7 out of 9 affected testes an atrophy was found. Because of this high atrophy rate the current therapeutic measures are discussed and a systemic immunoglobulin prophylaxis and corticosteroid therapy is emphasized. In the present paper the influence of various preservation solutions on the activity of this enzyme was examined. It was shown that Na-K-ATPase activity in rat kidneys did remain unchanged after 48 hour preservation in various preservation solutions (Bretschneider, Ross, Collins, Sacks, Belzer). In 1987 a transplant coordinator to the districts Berlin, Frankfurt and Potsdam with 3.1 Mio inhabitants was introduced. The functions of the coordinator and the approach to organ procurement are described in detail. In comparison with 1986 the number of explanted kidneys could doubled in 1988 (68 vs 143). The examination of concentration and excretion of lithogenic important parameters show a partly significant reduction of the concentration mean values of calcium, oxalic acid and uric acid.
