{"title":"The impact of taxation on the value of companies","authors":"Fedaa Abd Almajid Sabbar, Thamer Mahdi Muhamed Sabri","doi":"10.5897/AJBM2020.9177","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5897/AJBM2020.9177","url":null,"abstract":"The study aims to analyze the factors that determine the financial structure of listed companies based on  the impact of taxation on the value of companies (effective tax rate, tax savings, growth opportunities, asset tangibility, company size, Return on Assets (ROA), company seniority), and the impact of indebtedness on the profitability of enterprises measured by indebtedness rate, turnover, tangibility of assets and seniority of companies. The information collected from the annual financial statements for the period 2010 to 2019 related to the sample of companies was the basis for the analysis of the data panel using the method of multiple regressions. The results show that companies prefer equity as a means of financing and not debt because companies are sensitive to fiscal policies that are sometimes unpredictable and frequently changed. The influence that the fiscal variable has on the financial structure of the companies and its value is a constant result on the entire study. The assessment conducted because Kaliua District is the one among 184 councils where the government introduced DHFF; the study adopted case study design whereby, both qualitative and quantitative approaches were used. A structured questionnaire, Interview, FDGs, Documentary review were used in obtaining data which were classified into planning process, rate of fund utilization, adherence to financial management guidelines and perceptions of employees on fund utilization which were administered to 238 respondents who sampled through simple random and purposeful sampling techniques. Data analysed using excel and SPSS for quantitative data and content analysis for qualitative data. Study revealed that, planning process work in excellent way (72.9%); utilization capacity of funds disbursed has been acknowledged at 70%; Fund utilization perceived positively impacting on the quality of health services delivery like availability of medicines and medical equipment in health facilities unlike the time before DHFF. Financial and procurement guidelines to some extent are adhered for about 50%. However, study observed some World Journal of Business and Management ISSN 2377-4622 2021, Vol. 7, No. 1 http://wjbm.macrothink.org 2 problems like lack of funds to facilitate HFGCs’ activities, late disbursement of funds that affected utilization. Dari hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan antara motivasi terhadap kinerja artinya kebutuhan akan pencapaian prestasi (need of achievement), kebutuhan akan kekuasaan (need of power, nPow), dan kebutuhan akan afiliasi (need of affiliation, nAff) mempengaruhi kinerja dari ASN di Polda Sulsel, demikian pula budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja artinya ASN di Polda Sulsel sudah menanamkan nilai-nilai Panca Prasetya Korps Pegawai Republik Indonesia dan Tribrata sebagai pedoman dan falsafah hidup dalam setiap pelaksanaan tugas.\u0000The research objective was to test the effect of motivation and organizational culture on the performance of the State Civil Servants at the South Sulawesi Regional Police. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis methods. The samples taken by “cluster sampling” technique were sixty one people from a population of one hundred and fifty three people. Hal Ini ditandai dengan semakin besar pemahaman dan aktualisasi nilai – nilai lokal oleh seorang pemimpin pemerintahan, maka akan semakin tinggi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional yang dia terapkan khsuusnya dalam indikator stimulasi intelektual. Kepemimpinan pemerintah daerah harus selalu berbasis pada nilai – nilai kearifan lokal yang diwariskan sebagai wujud identitas aparatur yang berpihak pada masyarakat dan sebagai bentuk refleksi sebuah relevansi atas budaya kerja yang berkembang di Kabupaten Bone.\u0000The Purpose of this research is to determine the influence of local wisdom values on the transformasional leadership of the Government of Bone Regency. The approach uses qualitative research. The data is obtained through direct observation in the field, deep interviews with informants and document analysis. The research results are presented descriptively. The results show that the values of local wisdom influence the transformasional leadership style of the Government of Bone Regency. This is indicated by the greater understanding and actualization of local values ??by the government leader, the higher the transformational leadership style that he applies specifically in indicators of intellectual stimulation. Dan tujuan berikutnya adalah untuk mengetahui saluran distribusi pemasaran yang paling efisien dari petani hingga ke konsumen akhir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan menggunakan 143 responden petani kentan yang ada dilokasi peneklitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variable biaya pemasaran (X2) kurang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pendapatan petani kentan sedangkan hipotesi yang dikemukakan berpengaruh. Adanya temuan yang berbeda dengan hasil uji statika (uji t), dimana biaya pemasaran kurang berpengaruh dibanding variable X1 dan X3, karena pedagang perantara langsung ke lokasi petani sehingga kurang mengeluarkan biaya pemasaran dan secara lagsung mempengaruhi tingkat pedapatan petani. Saluran distribusi yang paling efisien berdasarkan uji formulasi efsiensi pemasaran adalah pada saluran pemasaran yang IV ( dari produsen- pedagang perantara- konsumen = 21,39 ) .Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa saluran pemasaran merupakan variable dominan yang mempengaruhi tingkat pedapatan petani kentan di Kecamatan Tombolo Pao sebesar   0,586 dan disusul pada variable volume penjualan sebesar 0,249.\u0000This study aims to determine how much the influence of the distribution channel variable (X1), marketing costs (X2) and sales volume (X3) on the income of potato farmers (Y). The next goal is to find out the most efficient marketing distribution channel from farmers to the consumers. The research method used was a survey method using 143 respondents of potato farmers who were in the research location. The results show that the marketing cost variable (X2) has less effect on the income level of potato farmers, while the hypothesis stated it has an effect. There are findings that are different from the results of the statistical test (t test), where marketing costs are less influential than variables X1 and X3, because the intermediary traders go directly to the location of the farmers so that they spend less marketing costs and directly affect the level of farmers’ income. The most efficient distribution channel based on the marketing efficiency formulation test is the IV marketing channel (from producer-trader to intermediary-consumer = 21.39). The sampling technique uses saturated simple technique. Berdasarkan hasil uji penelitian ini, bauran pemasaran dengan variabel orang, promosi dan tampilan fisik berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat pembelian di perumahan kalimasada. Untuk variabel yang lain tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat beli konsumen pada perumahan Kalimasada.\u0000This study was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, using primary data obtained from respondents' answers as many as 100 buyers and users of Kalimasada housing. This study aims to determine whether the implementation of the marketing mix simultaneously has a significant effect on consumers’ interest in buying a house in Kalimasada residence, Berau. Based on the testing results of this study, the marketing mix with the variables of people, promotion, and physical appearance has a significant effect on the interest in buying a house in Kalimasada residence. Sumber daya manusia mempunyai peran utama dalam setiap kegiatan organisasi. Walaupun didukung dengan sarana dan prasarana serta sumber dana yang berlebihan, tetapi tanpa dukungan sumber daya manusia yang andal, maka kegiatan organisasi tidak akan terselesaikan dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, disiplin kerja dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja pegawai, serta untuk menganalisis sejauh mana pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, disiplin kerja dan pelatihan secara simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji instrument penelitian, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi berganda serta pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, disiplin kerja dan pelatihan mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis koefisien korelasi maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, disiplin kerja dan pelatihan mempunyai pengaruh secara serempak atau bersama-sama terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika dan Persandian Kabupaten Deiyai.\u0000The issue of human resources is still in the spotlight for organizations to remain viable in the era of globalization. Human resources play a major role in every organization's activities. Although supported by facilities and infrastructure as well as excessive sources of funds, without the support of reliable human resources, the activities of the organization will not be completed properly. The purpose of this study was to analyze the extent to which the influence of leadership style, work discipline and training on employee performance, as well as to analyze the extent to which the influence of leadership style, work discipline and training simultaneously on the performance of employees. Data collection techniques are through observation, questionnaires and documentation, with data analysis techniques using the research instrument test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results found that leadership style, work discipline and training have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
