The significance of the integration of sports and education lies in the integration of the training of athletic talent into the national education system of the new era. Youth sports talent is the reserve army of China’s sports career, is an important support for a strong sports country. In order to realize the deep integration of sports and education, it is necessary to improve the sports competition system and integrate it. Sports competition, as an important part of social culture, has an important role in uplifting the national spirit, strengthening the national body and promoting the national spirit. It is an important platform to connect with the international community and conduct exchanges. Jian ming Li: deputy director of the State General Administration of Sports, also emphasized that “competition is a lever to pry the popularity of youth sports, a yardstick to test the results of sports training, and a booster to promote the training of reserve talents in competitive sports.” It shows that sports competition is an important symbol to lead the integration of sports and education and plays a commanding role. This paper uses survey method, literature method, and logical analysis method to research and summarize. In the study, it is found that the integration of sports and education has the characteristics of hierarchy, difference and delay, so in the process of developing measures and implementation must make effective countermeasures for the key combination points and avoid one-size-fits-all. To distinguish the differences and links between competitive sports, social sports and school sports, to carry out organic integration can not be rushed. Competition is the platform, participation is the purpose, education is the means. The development of competitive sports drives the participation of social sports, social sports guide the orderly development of school sports. Therefore, in order to solidly promote the integration of sports and education, this paper makes suggestions for improving the city’s youth sports competition system from five aspects: improving the event system, coordinating the development of multiple sectors, improving the investment in sports competition, integrating the sports industry and creating a good campus competition atmosphere. In this process, education and sports departments should work together for the overall design of the development and implementation of the sports competition system, t","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":"30 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85447378","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The recognition of dying has important implications not only for the patient, but also for their family and others involved in providing care. Several prognostic tools are used in the Australian acute care setting, however they are not yet routine practice. Identifying what characteristics are important to acute care health professionals when choosing a palliative care prognostic tool may inform how the tools are presented and could increase their utilization by non-palliative care specialists. This survey found that the Supportive and Palliative Care Indicators Tool (SPICT) and Surprise Question are the most commonly known prognostic tools and are used in several clinical areas within the acute care setting. Acute care health professionals prefer validated prognostic tools which are easy to use, and are designed to be administered with the patient, substitute decision maker and the clinical team. The survey also identified the need for palliative care prognostic tools to be included within undergraduate teaching programs, further increasing the awareness and utilization of prognostic tools by health professionals working within the acute care setting.","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":"125 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79517820","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Soil and palm (oil palm tree and raphia palm tree) wine samples produced in the studied upland and lowland areas were wet digested and analyzed for the presence of Pb, Cu, Cd and Zn using atomic absorption spectrophotometer.The lowland soil samples had 0.38±0.08, 6.27±0.40, 0.18±0.05 and 9.55±0.80µg/g as mean levels for Pb, Cu, Cd and Zn respectively. The upland soil samples had 0.70±0.04, 4.89±0.15, 0.06±0.02 and 7.07±0.22 µg/g as the mean levels for Pb, Cu, Cd and Zn respectively. The studied heavy metals were present in the soil sample areas in the following decreasing order; Zn > Cu >Pb >Cd.The mean range of Pb, Cu, Cd and Zn levels in the palm (oil palm tree and raphia palm tree) wine samples produced in the upland areas were 0.04- 0.06, 1.06- 1.91, 0.03- 0.05 and 2.86- 4.04 µg/g respectively. Pb was at toxic level in the oil palm tree wine samples produced in the upland areas.The mean range of Pb, Cu, Cd and Zn levels in the palm (oil palm tree and raphia palm tree) wine samples produced in the lowland areas were 0.05- 0.09, 1.95- 3.23, 0.04- 0.07 and 4.66- 6.51µg/g respectively. Pb, Cu and Cd were at toxic levels in the oil palm tree wine samples produced in the lowland areas. The palm wine samples produced in both the lowland and upland areas contained the investigated heavy metals at statistically significant levels. Because of the near daily consumption of palm wine produced from the oil palm and raphia trees as a drink of leisure by all categories of the people in the society, especially with high volume of production taking place in the lowland areas, it is important that human activities that supports the contamination of the soil with heavy metals, where these wines are produced are checkmated by government and host communities so as to limit the exposure to the heavy metals by palm wine consumers.","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":"117 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80983622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This challenge is especially prevalent for individuals trying to seek dental care services. Low-income households with limited health insurance coverage often perceive dental care as a luxury. However, good oral health signifies good overall health and can prevent future health problems. One of the primary goals of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was to increase dental care access for low-income individuals. The ACA was designed to expand dental coverage to be more comprehensive and decrease individuals’ financial burdens. The current study uses research and scholarly review articles from the past seven years to understand whether expanding dental care coverage through the ACA leads to better oral health for low-income individuals. The study shows that because of the ACA, there is a strong correlation between low-income individuals seeking dental care and improving their oral health. Extending dental coverage by the ACA significantly decreases the financial barrier for individuals and allows them to consult with a dentist more often. In addition, routine dental visits provide patients with proper oral health knowledge. The implementation of the ACA is also decreasing the number of emergency dental visits since individuals can access dental check-ups and prevent those visits. Further research is needed to understand how enrollees are utilizing all the benefits the Act provides for. Ensuring the ACA remains in place will allow future generations access to dental care, have better oral health, and reduce the strain on emergency dental departments.","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":"420 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74988762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition to univariate analysis, multilevel logistic regression models were used to examine the association of selected predictors and HIV screening. Results: Students aged 17 years and above were more likely to test for HIV than students 16 years or less (OR=1.928, 95% CI 1.413 – 2.630). Compared to students who did not have A’s or B’s, students who had A’s and B’s were 47% less likely to screen for HIV (OR =0.530, 95% CI 0.381 - 0.736). Discussing HIV with adults and parents (OR= 1.417, 95% CI 1.029 -1.952) and healthcare experts (OR=3.923, 95% CI 2.838 -5.423) was associated with increased odds of screening. Conclusions: Multilevel approaches to examine HIV screening predictors have tremendous potential to provide more insight into class level factors that influence public health programs. This is important especially in situations where there may not be enough state or departmental funding to implement a comprehensive screening program.","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89577897","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lacking willpower, academic anxiety, employment pressure and other factors are the reasons for young people gradually lying flat. In order to escape the standard of success of social monism, people who immersed in the virtual world isolated themselves in the personal world. In order to ignore the external voices, they covered their ears. Rather than say not caring about the outside world’s opinions, they are more likely to be stubborn in their own “Intention”. The times are progressing. Young people are also the followers of the times and the trailblazers in life. Our young people should strive for self-improvement, keep the fervour for life, and pay attention to the psychology of the “Lying down” young people, it is of great significance to interfere with the growth of “Lying flat” youth, we should face up to the spiritual essence reflected by the phenomenon of “Lying flat”. The aim was to test if Glottal Analysis Tools (GAT) could be used, based on High-Speed Video (HSV) to quantify distances between the vocal folds at any place on the vocal folds. The software includes a reproduced computed film of the vocal fold movements online. 20 normal HSV and 30 with insufficient closure in the rear part of the vocal folds (rear glottal gap) were compared in a case-control study. The distance of trajectories was chosen at 50% and 10% from the rear part of the glottis and maximum and minimum distances between the vocal folds were defined during phonation in the 2 groups. It was possible to calculate the absolute data of insufficiency of closure of the vocal folds compared to normal HSV with a statistical difference of p<0,0001. An interesting result was in this material also that functional closure was found in all images in the middle of the vocal folds. In the future quantification of voice disorders should include specific parts of the Glottal Area Waveform (GAW) analyses based on HSV for better differentiation of function and pathology of the vocal folds.","PeriodicalId":74678,"journal":{"name":"Research in health science","volume":"77 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81224420","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
